V8s are available in the range rovers and discos i think, but no petrols in defenders as far as i know.

Heres what i have been doing (again) to my landy today....Filled it 5 times.....the chip box is 6' by 5' by 4' high....not sure of the weight, but about 2 tonne i think. All hardwood chip....

Ah. Ok. The discos did have a basic ecu situated below the windscreen i believe.

Couldnt agree more. IMO better than any mog set up etc. Parked illegally the other day for five minutes, had left the beacons on by accident, and came out of the computer shop to find a traffic warden examining the landrover. He let me off, saying he didnt think there was much tree work going on round there at the time. what a star:thumbup:

A mat of mine has a 3PL botex crane. Works well.

I just ran 2 battery leads from the battery to an anderson connector at the back of the landy, then the same to the front of the trailer. Works fine.

What do you mean 300tdi re-mapped? There is no ecu in a 300tdi defender, or have you a disco?

Mill auto for the ones at the back. Britax, £45 each. Internet for the ones at the front. not as good but ticked some boxes at the time.

Its only an in-fill to keep suckers spending till the i-pad 3 is released in afew months. Dont be taken in by the bull. The i-pads have a MAJOR failing. Due to apple being so up their own arse its unreal, they wont allow flash sites to work on the ipad.....unlike android based machines....because they cant take flash over for nothing (like they did with linux/ ibuntu and falsely claim it as there own whereas its actually free software,) so 25% of sites simply wont work on the ipad.....ever. Dont be conned by these pretty and overpriced POS guys, wait a touch longer and the android system will p155 all over the rip off that is apple i-pad.

You can buy very good machines from Asus. You will probably never have heard of asus, but they make 99.9% of all motherboards fitted to computers (macs included) today. -

And crap. the only really good thing is the perkins engine. Had several of those dodge 50 based trucks, and the build quality, esp on the brakes and bodywork, is atrocious.
