  1. Congratulations mate!!
  2. And isnt it just insulting the way stihl magnanimously include ONE 3" square repair patch with their trous.....within no time at all ther is little or nothing left to sew that to anyway- more like a fishermans net:thumbdown:
  3. Hahahahahahahahahaha....
  4. Wearing a pair of lightweights over the top and braces will protect the outer layer for years (the lightweights) and go a long way to countering crotch ripping probs (braces), as well as covering up any rips that do occur in unsightly places........
  5. Nice telly Lm20....nicer Missus. She's a babe:biggrin:
  6. Cleft is always the best, as it tends to cut across very few of the grains, leaving little to no end grain. however due to the durability that SC has anyway, i wouldnt get too concerned. It dooes split readily though, and looks awesome when cleft.
  7. Just what i was wondering. Frank- have you still got the naim stuff?
  8. Probably not, but we're well nosey:blushing:
  9. I used to have a 2.5k sound system in my living room....PA gear with 18" bass scoops...kept breaking glass though, but for the cinema effect it was effective enough lol!
  10. Cheers jon. Rest assured it is abused on an almost daily basis.....I weighed in at 9.2 tonne at the quarry about 6 years ago......half loaded trailer and butt with stone....about 6 months later loaded the trailer and landy with wet stony slaty sort of stuff till it was flowing off the sides, using a tractor and loader. .....as they say, 'when needs must, the Devil drives'.

  12. Me too Mark. 40" hidef with a surround sound amp....although that is going to sound pretty limited in the new place...a static caravan lol!!!

Oh i have opinions, but would take up most of arbtalks bandwidth, and TBH this is yet another thread where all the posts appear to be based on what the media tell us. I spent years getting het up about the way this world is run, and how out of order and duplicitous it is, and realised that there is no positive outcome. Humans are scum, and greedy selfish scum at that, so there is little or no point in getting worked up about it, especially based on what the media tell us.
  14. Yeah- the business. Cant think of a crap film they have made.
  15. I HATE with a passion ALL those puerile harry potter films. I walked outof the secon one half way through. Kung Pow though- an awful film but very very funny- a great parody of kung fu movies....
  16. Found this link with some pics.... Hamster - unusual/rare films - The Experiencer

  18. Oops yeah my error. 39 is the saw one isnt it? its been a long time
  19. The experiencer.....that is weird..It took about 6 years to make or something like that. Made by a bloke called Kohler i think. One of the most random films ever...... Tetsuo iron man was a japanese oddity if ever there was one.... Quite enjoyed Meet the Applegates.

    Zma?

I honestly dont understand the need for any of this stuff. What is the attraction? I have always eaten well, no junk food, and have been told my physical strength is loads, by people that I work with etc. None of it can be very good for you surely? I genuinely dont get it?
  23. WTF are you on about dave....have you SEEN what i do to mine:confused1: This was dragged across about 600 yards of field and out of a wood first.... And sorry about the awful commentary on this vid:blushing: We did this day after day, and then loaded the trailer the same- I have been doing this for years to my poor landy, and it just comes back for more... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mgo06-Qk1JY]YouTube - Landy loaded and stuck[/ame]
  24. They are seperate, but LANTRA training will give you the knowledge required to pass an NPTC test, which is usually offered as part of the course fee on a LANTRA course. LANTRA (i think) will train and assess you for basic Land based skills, in the area of chainsaw use the most basic tickets, and you can (and usually are ) be issued with a certificate at the end to show you have received training in that subject area. However if you want to do more advanced units then in order to fulfill most employers requirements in the UK and all abroad, the NPTC test will be required to be passed. You are not required to undergo LANTRA traiing to sit an NPTC test, but unless you are experienced and au fait with the NPTC 'syllabus' you would be well advised to prepare yourself for the NPTC test with a LANTRA training course. The above may have made it as clear as mud......
