  1. MOst insurers on the right of the screen will offer tool insurance, especially (i would have thought) from a locked shed!
  2. I think the owner had mulched the tree already.
  3. Cool pics!! I see what you mean about the Bigfoot.....and the waterfall is beautiful.
  4. I DID watch the whole thing....i forced myself to sit through it.....and you explained that some of the stubs were to be cut back, and you did show some of them cut back, but you also pointed out some that werent, and you explained that you were happy to leave them.
  5. A well set up alaskan with attention paid to rails is VERY accurate, and those narrow band blade mills can waver alot. Mine doesnt like ash in big sizes at all i have to admit.
  6. If accuracy is your thing then a chainsaw mill isnt really the way forward. Look at small bandsaw mill, although there will ALWAYS be a degree of inaccuracy whatever miling process you use, every stage of timber conversion increases accuracy.
  7. Ah right. In the defender I have "permanent 4x4" on the road, with a diff in the centre box. In order to lock the axles I would have to buy and fit aftermarket diffklocks in the axles, engage centre diff lock, and then would have to lock each axle.
  8. Locking both axle diffs and the centre diff?
  9. What does 'cross locks' mean after it says it has diff locks?
  10. I didnt......but now you have told me........do i owe you much......
  11. Me and my son like it Rupe. You now have 50!
  12. I couldnt go to the show this year, but TBH i am amazed at some of the comments regarding the food. I have been to hundreds of agricultural shows, horse shows, steam fairs, festivals, raves etc etc, and never once have i had gourmet food at little chef prices with no queues. All the queuing and prices that have ben described in this thread appear to be nothing out of the ordinary WHATSOEVER in my experience. Unless you lot have hardly ever been to outdoor events of any variety, then you ought to have gone prepared (picnics or stoves and food etc) or stop whingeing. p.s. iam ready to be shot down in flames for this:blushing:
  13. What's srt:sneaky2:? This is my mate at the start of the 60'-to-the-first-branch body thrust!!!!
  14. Ahem...its okay now as my 10 year old has sorted it.......ctrl-.....
  15. Has arbtalk just gone extra big for anyone else? All of a sudden it wont fit on my page:confused1: Its only arbtalk so i dont think its something i have done to the PC:confused1:
  16. Thats exactly the way I feel about it, which is why I am interested in what you have to say about the 201. I will try and make my 200 last 'til august, by which time EITHER you will have tested the 201 to destruction/ found that it is awesome, OR husky will have actually relesed theirs, and I will have more to go on. TBH if this stihl turns out well the husky wont get a look in.
  17. He was offering 10 year finance on the rig, which in total came to about 200k to a friend of mine!!!!!!!!!
  18. Sorry to hear that Dave. Although you say that the result isnt exactly unexpected, I am sure it must still be disappointing. Good luck with the op mate.
  19. Nice pics, groovy rocks mate. Your daughter has some frizzy hair going on there!!
