  2. Me and my son like it Rupe. You now have 50!
  3. I couldnt go to the show this year, but TBH i am amazed at some of the comments regarding the food. I have been to hundreds of agricultural shows, horse shows, steam fairs, festivals, raves etc etc, and never once have i had gourmet food at little chef prices with no queues. All the queuing and prices that have ben described in this thread appear to be nothing out of the ordinary WHATSOEVER in my experience. Unless you lot have hardly ever been to outdoor events of any variety, then you ought to have gone prepared (picnics or stoves and food etc) or stop whingeing. p.s. iam ready to be shot down in flames for this:blushing:
  4. What's srt:sneaky2:? This is my mate at the start of the 60'-to-the-first-branch body thrust!!!!
  5. Ahem...its okay now as my 10 year old has sorted it.......ctrl-.....
  6. Has arbtalk just gone extra big for anyone else? All of a sudden it wont fit on my page:confused1: Its only arbtalk so i dont think its something i have done to the PC:confused1:
  7. Haha that made me chuckle.....
  8. Thats exactly the way I feel about it, which is why I am interested in what you have to say about the 201. I will try and make my 200 last 'til august, by which time EITHER you will have tested the 201 to destruction/ found that it is awesome, OR husky will have actually relesed theirs, and I will have more to go on. TBH if this stihl turns out well the husky wont get a look in.
  9. He was offering 10 year finance on the rig, which in total came to about 200k to a friend of mine!!!!!!!!!
  10. Sorry to hear that Dave. Although you say that the result isnt exactly unexpected, I am sure it must still be disappointing. Good luck with the op mate.
  11. Stunning.
  12. Nice pics, groovy rocks mate. Your daughter has some frizzy hair going on there!!
  13. They are out there......just not that common........ View from 135 feet up a sitka in Par, St Austell:
  14. Really nice carving mate,
  15. I am assured that there will be a huge launch in august.......but TBH i am so bored of hearing this, even though this guy was at a husqvarna stand, not some garden machinery or arb shop stand.
  16. Good work G.G! Its an alaskan mini mill. I have one for sale.
  17. Keep us posted on this one Josh....I was playing with the t540 xp today....and even got a "definite" on release. I was sorely tempted- to the extent that I tried to get the guy to sell me one of the three he had at the stand (at ag show in cornwall), but he said they were definitely NOT to be sold. It is a very very nice machine, about a million miles from one of those 338 things, beautifully balnced with a 14" bar, and felt very well made too:thumbup1: My 200 is nigh on dead......just not sure if i can wait the (short) time until the husky is finally released.......that is if the timing I was assured by the rep has any relation to reality:sneaky2:
  18. Might have been.....
  19. Nicely done Josh. Freaky building!
  20. Thats different!!
  21. Well done Rob. Looks nice!

    bug id

    Wow they're beautiful little bugs!
  23. Mate of mine used to do it marking the end of the log wit a square to line up the cuts. That would give you a square block which would be alot easier to resaw into beams.
