  1. That would be a very small hiab, possibly a bit too small to worth having. How much would such a small machine lift and what sort of reach would be available ?
  2. No, not accurate so pointless. The very lightest 7.5t trucks come in with a 4t payload if you're lucky and that's without guys in them. A hiab will be close to a ton so your real legal payload would probably be closer to 2000kg. However a 10t lorry has more or less the same footprint of 7.5 and would have the payload still...further more an 18t as myself and few other members run is a little bigger but had a huge payload even with a large hiab fitted. Also a 7.5t and trailer only requires C1+E which is much easier to come by than C+E
  3. Looks like a very good platform to build from, I look forward to seeing what you do with it. The crane looks quite new too?
  4. Or Cary much at all if its 7.5t
  5. I did hat, just out the flywheel on in the right position and tighten it up, no problem.

    L200 Servicing

Seems a bit steep! I got timing belts done at the dealer for £280.00 other than that I change the oil and all filters once a year and fit new pads and shoes usually also once a year. That leaves a lot of change from the prices you're being quoted!
  7. We delivered about 700-100 last month took about a day. Has returned about £1500 of work pretty good IMO.
  8. Learn to use your feet to track so you can dig or slew etc at the same time then to minimise ground damage to turn just lift the tracks slightly by putting the bucket down in front of you then track he left track forward and right back and slew to the right as you do, this will minimise the contact patch and if done right the tracks will barely drag at all causing almost no damage,

    Veg oil

Common rails can only be run on very light blends, maybe 20%. To run in modified on high percentages of bi you need an older diesel with a Bosch fuel pump (not Lucas) old Mercedes are best as they were also indirect injection which aids combustion of the heavier oil.

    Veg oil

I've run quite a few motors on 100% veg oil and very high percentages of old engine oil. It's fine, you just have to pick the right vehicle to do it to without modification or use a twin tank kit.
  11. I've not read everything but I I thought trailer overrun brakes don't really work in reverse, and mine are regularly adjusted. Only unhitch a trailer when it's pointing down a hill the brakes will work then.
  12. Looking to take someone on full time climbers and groundsman considered various levels of experience considered with pay to match. 07505134004
  13. Later opening or being let in by appointment would be great, means I could pop up once the traffic has died down and get any urgently needed bits
  14. So for £180.00 you expect him all kit and truck to fill? I presume he charges more for a chipper?
  15. It's the visa the comment is made in respect of not them worrying you'll be too old. Australia and NZ have a working holiday visa for people up to 30 years old.
  16. You can get tap caps for the 25l barrels, however in all but the hottest weeks of summer the oil is a bit slow, which is why I prefer to use a funnel straight into the can.
  17. Lots of comments on the SE rates what are the opinions about the PAYE stuff ?
  18. Sounds like he is going to trawl through all your receipts and make some accounts for you backdating everything and putting it into his program or a spreadsheet (which you can use in future) if this is right I'd say that's fair enough it'll take ages and be a horrible job. After that if expect to pay £2-300 for you on your own below the VAT threshold
  19. Yeah it's .22 nice high shot count, about 150 or so, they do a carbine now too which looks good
  20. I use a BSA R10 Mk2 Hawke scope not sure on model. I think the lamp I have is an LED Ray tracer, it's small but pretty powerful and very effective at air rifle ranges, only about £40 if I recall correctly
  21. I try to avoid this question with statements with "well it's certainly not a 5 minute job!" Then we laugh and move on. Even the vaguest mention of s time scale can land you in hot water if you're a bit quick
  22. Sell for cash, or keep it to go back to when you get sick of your new pencil sharpener and constant snedding
  23. I had a Tmax on my old defender seemed a pretty good piece of kit it didn't get a vast amount of use but when it was used it was used properly and never failed.
  24. Have been looking into building a new Adwords campaign recently after reading about it and seeing how inefficient some of mine were. Is anyone doing their own with much success? Or maybe outsourcing it if so at what sort of cost and ROI?
