  1. I had olives in my salad today, a very nice touch. Oh and a tangerine and apple around 3 pm. Came home and had 2 pancakes with butter n jam. For dinner I had, butternut squash fritters with spinach , rocket and avocado salad with a poached egg.
  2. First things budget, no point going looking if you dont have enough money. My unit has cost me £30k, this includes the chipper, the chip body, Hiab and a recent big bill where I spent nearly £6k on it. This is my 4th Mog and by far the most versatile. I budget to spend a few hundred £ a month on maintence. On some jobs it's overkill, on others there's nothing that will touch it for size and capabilities all in the 1 unit.
  3. Lwb is ok, it's just longer by 1m. On 1 side you get more stuff in on the other it's not as manoeuvrable ! The u1600 is the most sought after and holds the best money. If the model ends in 50 it's 50cm longer.
  4. Depends on your budget. £30k would get you this.
  5. My mate does an emmense amount of training for an Iron man . 2 mile swim in the morning before work and 60-100 miles a night on his bike trainer a few times a week plus running. He eats an emmense amount of food, mainly chicken, fish and couscous !! He is like an energiser bunny, always hyper, happy and focused and about 10% body fat. He eats piles of calories before his bedtime aswell. Oh and he's 23! I think for all the guys around 40 its hard to get to grips with not having the energy we had when we were 30! If you feel better mentally and physically from this diet, crack on! My lunch today is chicken, lettuce, couscous with avocado and brown bread. And I drink water all day with the odd coffee thrown in. This morning I had porridge, honey and bananas and at 10am I had a scrambled egg roll. I think that's quite healthy. As long as I don't eat too much at 1 sitting I don't crash.
  6. This is my set up It used to be skyhucks many moons ago, diferent chipper though.
  7. First I watched it after seeing this thread, just clips on Utube though. Seems a hard grafting guy with a good squad and amazing kit. That 6 wheel skidded, wowsers!
  8. Gutted!!!!
  9. Wife says ' wow ' ! I still think your all mad.
  10. Come on my wife wants to know as she says there's only 1 definitive way:biggrin:
  11. How do you know Ben?
  12. Big jump!!!
  13. Transit tipper simple and straight forward.
  14. You don't need a blower on the chipper to get it into the back, it will clog if the blades are blunt though while chipping Conny or pine. I have a text somewhere from Stan explaining why it's not that simple a job to convert that back to a pto machine, I think the bill before you sort out you pto is about £2k as it needs a reversing gearbox and mounts for starters. I think a u900 is a bit light for a front mount unless it's very light, I tp150 on the back is perfect imo
  15. Good job, did you have extra lights?
  16. Food gives us energy, if you have a lot to do, eat plenty before hand but give youself a couple of hours for it to go down, if your sitting about all day don't eat so much and sugary things will give you highs and lows. This Paelo diet is a presumed diet as no one wrote stuff down back then.
  17. It needs a front window de mister:biggrin: Wow , that's awesoem:thumbup1: Looks like your doing some serious Forestery . Have you still got the valmet? So more info and pics please on what your up to:001_smile:
  18. Is that yours?? It's a thing of beauty!!
  19. If its as good with branches as it is with heavy grass then surely it will be a beast, and more like 12" than 6" or am I missing something?
  20. I'd of loved it if those 2 cutters behind him cracked out a couple of hi 5's and lunges on the stem for here:lol: Didn't sound like much rot when the saw was working through it:001_rolleyes:
  21. 1 spikey nug and it's game over. If I got it for nowt id use it, those guys were just slow. Great for protecting lawns and stonework
  22. More like there's a huge wood chipper market and a very small tow behind forage harvester market! It would be ideal for crane feeding with your tractor , just take off that hopper. The pro will run at any angle so you can kick out the front end for feeding. 1 job would pay for itself and you could shuttle trailers aswell.
  23. A pooperscooper??
  24. Get air horns for the Mog !
