  1. Morning, blue sky and about zero I think, it was melting through the night so it’s going to be slippy. A morning dog walking and eating then off too my great nephews 2nd birthday party. Have a good 1.
  2. Hedgecutting did me in I reckon before I even got my hands on a saw. Climbing in the sub zero with ice and snow in the trees is tough to work through. It’s just miserable, the chipper exhaust, digger exhaust close by makes a difference to just keep heating and drying. The robo too. Yesterday was -8 but dry, I didn’t need gloves until we got onto some Sitka for the jaggies, but Wednesday with snow and sleet it was miserable.
  3. Cold or warm we always turn up, good kit, good guys, good attitude and get it done!👍
  4. Morning, nice 1 Doug! You had me at cafe! Mick fare play to still climbing! -7 I think outside, blitzed through my felling job yesterday in the snow so a day of village jobs getting knocked off the list then the dentist at 3.30pm. Have a good day guys.
  5. We’ve about 4’’ of snow, I haven’t been out yet, it’s not melting so it’s going to be in minus. Village jobs today.
  6. i'm really impressed Josh.
  7. Morning, cold here, snows coming in later on. Big conny hedge to remove then a garden prune up. Have a good day.
  8. Went and chipped my brash piles, the first stack was when I was expecting to be chipping with an 8’’ chipper , 2nd pile was after I’d bought the Jensen over the phone so all left bigger and easier to feed.
  9. It’s very simple, start it in 540, get it spinning then change to 1000 speed. No drama.
  10. Morning all, colder here now. It was zero yesterday and it’s to get down to -10 this week with snow. I bought a PTO Jensen. Trying to reduce manual chipping so this should help.
  11. Morning, blue sky and frost here for the 2nd day in a row. I had planned on going and doing some chipping with new chipper, but I reckon I’ll go walk the dog instead. Have a good 1.
  12. Fare play on tackling that Mick, ugly dead horrible looking thing, I’ve never done dead sweet chestnut, it looks as hard as concrete!
  13. Morning, much colder this morning, snow on the hills, 2km robo job to start today, hoping it’s mostly Heather and not gorse. Enjoy your Friday
  14. Morning, it’s finally stopped raining. Local job, 3 Scots pines to fell. Have a good day.
  15. Shame but good on the seller.
  16. Did a few yesterday myself, stacked ready for chipping
  17. Morning, rained all through the night. Taking the day off today, my backs not happy I thought I was a teenager for 2 days. So I’ll get the dog, breakfast rolls then go walk a Robo 2km job I’m starting on Friday.
  18. Morning, cracking cold start here, suns coming up and looks to be a bit of frost. Have a good day Pete.
  19. Morning, monsoon outside, when I can hear it on the utility roof I know it’s heavy. But rain before 7, gone by 11 is usually true. Starting a garden felling job today. Coffee and porridge first.
  20. Morning, starting to get light and mild here. Walking, breakfast and get machinery ready for tomorrow .
  21. When google gets it wrong but you’re a freak and a tree cutter so it’s all good! I’ll allow it!🤔😂
