Morning guys, dark outside but I believe it’s dry. Today’s going to be running stuff to the tip, looking at some jobs, dog walk and eating. I’ve bought an old home made timber bogey and crane off a lad I know for village and yard duties, I’ve not seen it apart from a few videos, a bit of hose tidying up and some paint and it’ll be dandy I reckon.

A convertible! Very nice!

Nice 1, the weapon of choice for most guys now. 3 mates have that model so must be good.

Good morning chaps, it’s dark and haven’t heard rain so must be dry. Day off today, got some pottering and taking the good lady shopping and I’ll get a look around the tools shops.

Morning, dry and mild here. Boys are working locally and I’m going to take the dog and myself a good walk, look at a couple of jobs and a general potter day.

Morning guys, been awake since 5.30pm hoping I’d get back to sleep but gave in and got up. Dry and mild here. Physio first thing, then off to a council job, Poplar over a picnic area.

Morning, crazy mild here again. Got paid for a bigger job this morning I’ve been out of pocket for a couple of months with material, so that’s always a good start.

Finished up my Robo job yesterday, I’ve never worked in a place with so many birds of prey, at 1 time there was a White tail Eagle, buzzards, kite sparrow hawk I think and a kestrel all while a domestic type cat hunted the ground , a pheasant mooched about and the ravens passed by for anything else going. Hit a pheasant 2 nights ago heading home, didn’t realise until yesterday afternoon my number plate was missing, upon inspection I found this.

Morning team, similar here weather wise, dry for now. I was hoping for heavy rain last night as I’ve a large willow in the river that’s go no other place to go apart from down stream. Breakfast then I’ll head off to the cut n run and try now fall in.

Morning, barmy 11 degrees and windy driving over the mountain road this morning. Coffee and roll had to time to carry some diesel up a hill! 😂 enjoy!

I wish it was Heather mate, it’s Broom, some is 6” trunks and 10’ high. Mick it’s a woodland creation of mixed hardwoods and then grazed with Highland cows. Farms lands not been used for 20 years.

Evening, I was up and away early, yesterday’s puddles and monsoon rain was worse than the slight skim of black ice today but took the ski road slowly there and back. And other 2 days of it.

When someone asks “All things considered, is AI good for humanity?” they’re doing something very human: trying to simplify a vast, complex subject into something digestible. That kind of question can come from a few different mindsets, depending on tone and intent: The seeker of clarity – Someone genuinely curious, trying to get a sense of the overall moral balance. They know it’s complex but want to hear how others weigh the pros and cons. The moral judge – Someone looking for a definitive stance. “Good or bad” becomes a shorthand for “should I support or fear this?” The conversational spark – Someone starting a debate thread. They ask a simple, provocative question because it invites passionate responses. The anxious observer – Someone uneasy about change. Framing it as “good or bad” helps them express uncertainty or fear in a socially acceptable way. The reductionist thinker – Someone who struggles (or refuses) to sit in the grey areas. They want a clear binary even when the truth is layered. So, that kind of question isn’t necessarily shallow — it often reveals how a person handles complexity. Some want to understand it; others want to control or contain it.

Morning, got a 2 hour drive to the job this morning, I could do it in in 90 mins going over the mountain rd but it’s clutch screamer up, brake burner down with a lot of chances of slipping off the rd in the middle, so going to take the slightly not a steep way round. It’s been monsoon since 10pm last night and still lashing.

Morning, bed for 10pm, up at 7 pm. No complaints here. Wet and cold again this week from the forecast. Trailer lights is first order of the day here, the duck tape summer botch ups aren’t any use now it’s dark. Then a couple of local domestic jobs.
