  1. Can you not just get some cheapo chaps for the assessment Big Lad? Those non-protective trousers will be well nice in the summer. When not using a saw, of course....
  2. Good stuff Chris. It makes a refreshing change to see a company sorting a problem out sharpish rather than pretend it doesn't exist.
  3. Now we're talking. Trisha Yates used to give me funny feelings in my shorts!
  4. What a great old guy! Brilliant, thanks for posting.
  5. Welcome to the dark side Tone. Eats some rope though, doesn't it?
  6. Remember the agency has to make money, so the employer pays more and/or the staff get less. 10%? 15%? 20%? Might work, might not. Good luck with it.
  7. I've just made up a new, ancient saying - Roses are red, Violets are blue, Why can't Stihl make decent bar covers for bigger saws?
  8. Please can everyone refrain from regurgitating any old bollocks from that crappy firewood poem. I thank you.
  9. Needs some steak and Guinness that one Dodger.
  10. Good stuff Ady, but I've handled fallen fledglings which the parents have then reared? Not owls, mind. Looks lovely.
  11. Beat me to it Steve. Who/how will the checking be done?
  12. Are you Max from Woodchurch in Kent? Met you in the Six Bells a couple of times when we were taking down an Ash? Good luck with the work, whatever.
  13. The Oregon button braces on the trousers I am trialling for Les at the moment are head and shoulders above anything else out there.
  14. Great vid Taylor, horrible tree! Loved the combination of good rigging and no rigging when you could slap some pieces down. Well done to you and the ground crew. Rather you than me buddy!
  15. Well done mate, big tree and impressive, balanced rigging. Get yourself a pint and I'll reimburse you next time we meet up (English prices!). Good tunes as well.
  16. Very nice, tight eye there mate.
  17. Working on a biggish Lime yesterday. Ross Smith and Stevo took a break to smoke some opium. Dutchie was slightly confused by it all.
  18. Jesus Drew, try and get The Gump some strides before the Worlds will ya bro?
  19. Nod, Pics of Drew B's DMM anchor ring set up with the VT to limit sit-back and encourage grip are on Climbers Talk. Thread is 'self tending Helical hitch', and the pics are on page 2. Tom D. also has a thread up on it. Well done in the comp last weekend mate. Mark
  20. Smooth Rupe, thanks for posting (and wearing the cam!).
  21. RIP Henry and Ted. Who's third? Always threes.
