Great thread Mick. Knots are a pretty fascinating subject. You never know it all. Sometimes a bomber knot isn’t safe, but that same knot WITH A STOPPER will never fail. Get two bits of cord with different diameters. Any shite will do, a bootlace and a piece of paracord. A metre of each will do. Learn to tie knots. So much online. If you can’t be arsed go back to gardening, or to your caravan. Any groundie who can’t pick up a marlin spike on day one needs to fuck off.

I would have got 5/5 of Mick’s, but it was a Morris Traveller with my brothers. We didn’t usually sit in the car though, we played football on the green. Coke was always in glass bottles and the crisps were salt and shake.
