  1. Good point Paul, but my plant trailer has cobwebs on it since I got the ramps. Means I can get the chipper and loader on site in one hit. The time it saves there is always time to tip off and come back. Like JTH I have the luxury of usually working locally.
  2. Did pretty much exactly that yesterday with a euc Dan. 2 1/2’ butt. 3 of us. All brash dragged to the chipper and fired into the field, all cord loaded into a JCB bucket poked over the garden fence with the Worky Quad. Farm boys lost everything in a grain trailer. Ciders at 3. They are a real game changer on the right job. IMG_1317.mov
  3. Edit - you don’t need to take the tailgate off every time, that was just when I was fitting them. The ramps come with an HSS drill bit and 2 keeper pins for the bed.
  4. I have these for my Worky Quad, they work a treat. 3 tonne rated. Just slightly too long to fit flat on the bed, but they fit just over the tailgate strapped down. https://jacksta-energy.co.uk/product/aluminium-loading-ramps-3-ton-heavy-duty-3m-10-foot-long-pair-includes-vat-collection-only-copy/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21276624464&gclid=Cj0KCQjw953DBhCyARIsANhIZoYI4IhOTEkQRpbv2z8CzuNoLrepIx_LiRkgOlVXa-CRGDB77t0xDw4aAoS1EALw_wcB

  10. Jeremy knows his stuff alright, but was also very annoyed that the Duke of Wellington cedar at Kingston Lacy was removed. You can’t have it both ways.

  12. I’ve got various tick tools, but prefer the snare type that Rich mentioned. It’s also important to disinfect the site immediately after removal. Another good point Rich makes is to destroy the evil little bastards as soon as you’ve removed it! I pulled one off my old dog once, took my eye off the ball, and it disappeared onto the lawn. I was gutted.

  18. I think the industry is just fairly slow at the minute, especially domestically, which won’t be helping you. It will pick up, it always does. You’ve just come across really well on here, and I think someone flexible and only after a few days a week should be very attractive to the right company. Good luck with it mate.
