  1. I’m always amazed at the low value placed on planting. When you think about it, it’s the most important part of our lives, in many different ways.
  2. It’s replacing the newly planted trees which have died mate.
  3. Anyway, I’m off to the coast to stand near the edge of a pier to film some massive waves to put on my social media. Essential journey.
  4. They seem to overegg it a bit since ‘87. I think folks would rather be told their roof will blow off and it not happen than the other way round. The fact that it might get a bit windy in London seems to be the thing that’s driving the media frenzy.
  5. Where’s the fun in that Pete?!!!
  6. Why’s that Matty? Battery drain?
  7. Fit both Mick, you’re worth it. I suppose having a hydraulic winch to the hopper doesn’t float your boat as much because you’ve got that covered with the Avant?
  8. Aye, the dids would love that.
  9. Bloody right!
  10. They bloody want to be for £70k!
  11. They’re not all black! https://www.outdoorgb.com/p/Sealskinz_Waterproof_All_Weather_Ultra_Grip_Knitted_Gloves/?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=directory&utm_content=GBR&currency=GBP&country=GBR&SelectedBundle=192019&SelectedItem=776008&gclid=Cj0KCQiAu62QBhC7ARIsALXijXQMNMXVUPq90g4d5RpKQShRd0GA5rt7u9E7VWs7rNTazOzIqX7GHKMaAo1JEALw_wcB
  12. Those sound pretty good, similar to the ‘Winter Touch’ I have used, and similar price for a single pair. Depends how much sensitivity you need for the controls I suppose Mike. I’ve found neoprene too cold on really brutal days, but I’ve got really poor circulation in my hands. I have Sealskinz as well, they’re great, but I keep them for best!
  13. I try not to ‘work’ work on Sundays, but I kind of like a bit of yard work, servicing, log/chip deliveries or such like in the morning, stuff I can usually involve the kids with. Big dog walk with the family, then after a shower feel justified in having the boozy dream that Mick described. Some pretty good arguments either side, just do what’s best for you and try and be considerate of others.
  14. 1 day ROLO course then assessment monkey test, about £200. Why do the Jobcentre want him to do two weeks training with anyone, in any discipline? They’re deluded.
  15. The perfect Sunday! Pretty much today, but did service the chipper and take the twins swimming first. Rugby instead of film, and big dinner and a bit too much wine still to come!
  16. I know. Ebay sell them.
  17. Good idea, but ‘the thieves best friend’ ebay sell these for £43. Why would any honest person need a tracker detector?
  18. Well ebay wouldn’t pull it would they? They are as bad as the thieves.
  19. The bricked in ones round here are the thieving, drug dealing, coursing bastards who are causing all the problems.
  20. I wonder why?
  21. Get a price from a local and qualified company. Any other answer on here will be pure speculation.
  22. I am 100% behind Jimmy Carr. And I’m not being funny.
  23. I’m quite chuffed so far that this thread hasn’t attracted some bleeding heart defending the dids. We all know the craic.
  24. All I can think of Mick is that the dids have a network of a few genuine machines and can order the parts for the serial numbers from them. Doesn’t help if there’s a big problem only a dealer can sort out though. The manufacturers certainly don’t do enough to help. The basic security locks are laughable. They obviously see a stolen machine as a new sale.
