  1. As above. So dependent on weight, build, body type, climbing style etc., so many variables. We have a girl on the team now and she’s got on fine with a TM, Sequoia and my Koala, but she’ll try more before she buys. The Simarghu Gemini (excuse the spelling ) is designed for women I believe.
  2. Not long in with mine Pete, they love the woods at dusk/dark.
  3. The sentiment is spot on though Mick.
  4. Aye, that cladding looks great J.
  5. Aye, looked a ballache of a drag and hump-out that. Big tree.
  6. I will check him out mate. 👍
  7. Really enjoyed his comedy. Thanks for the laughs Jethro. RIP
  8. Ouch Alex! What are peoples thoughts on the Cast Worky Quads? Big pluses for me are really narrow access capability and extremely local dealer, but I haven’t demo’d one yet.
  9. Not interested in that, but louder sounds good. I’ll get one.
  10. He was just being polite, I hope. What next, West Coast dawgs?
  11. It’s ok, he’s not American.
  12. Who’s got it in mate? My main climber Danny Mac was interested, but now he’s discovered the joy of a good hitch combined with the Petzl Chicane he probably won’t bother.
  13. I’d go with K and Kev (about the resurfacing, not the helo lift!) or walk. Are the surgery aware of the implications of leaving the tree in it’s current state? It would be on their insurance if the tree flattened the surgery, not the tree owners.
  14. You’re only talking about a oner more for a cheapo bollard John, no need to mortgage a GRCS just yet. Quicker to set up, much easier to use, and don’t flop about like an electrocuted fish at the base of the tree.
  15. Being inefficient isn’t cheap though.
  16. Portawraps are for people stuck in the dark ages. Why would anyone put themselves through that kind of fuckonery? Get a Stein SMB 1000 or Roperunner P500.
  17. I’ve tried the 19 Crimes Steve. Bloody gorgeous, but I’m not worth it!
  18. I’m not a wine snob, but I normally favour Aussie Shiraz. This isn’t a continent war, as my Dad said ‘I’ve never met a red I wouldn’t drink’. The Aussie Shiraz’s seem to tick the boxes for me, though. Really heavy, loads of flavour, high alcohol. Just tried a ‘Pepperbox’ from Tesco. £8 with Clubcard. I’m paying over £7 for filth in my local shop now. Bloody good. Anyone tried it? Or any other recommendations? Strictly sub-£10 please. (Although I have tried ‘The Hedonist’, but I would have to start charging more.)
  19. How is the twin line working for everybody?
  20. Now, where did I put my glasses….
  21. Can’t believe you’re so disorganised Mick.
  22. fronteira - FEDIMA WWW.FEDIMATYRES.COM Link to what I had above. Good if you can get hold of some!
  23. Couldn’t source them this time mate, and I wasn’t prepared to wait 6 months and order them from Portugal! Went for Riken Cargo instead, not as aggressive, like.
  24. I did think it sounded a bit King Herod like after I had typed it!
  25. As above. Kill them now, they are babies.
