  1. We have found squabs in every month of the year. I wish the AA and other bodies would stop assuming that birds have calendars. They don’t.
  2. Tough game, massive respect for Denmark throughout the tournament, they were superb. We deserved it tonight though. I will love it if we beat Italy. Love it.
  3. It’s a bit worrying that two of your ‘staff’ feel it necessary to ‘have their own insurance’.
  4. Pfanners are meant to be good spike boots Paddy, although I get on fine with my Andrews. I’m not on spikes for hours at a time these days, though.
  5. Have you considered outsourcing production to China Beau? Get it shipped back, Union Jack stamped on the bags, jobs a good ‘un!
  6. I did repair the timer on our Dualit toaster with a cheap part off the internet and some help from Youtube! I don’t get this outsourcing to China bollocks. Most of us would be happy to pay a bit more for genuine British stuff if the quality was there.
  7. Ignore Newton. He’s just bitter because when he ordered a pair of Andrews he thought a couple of male prostitutes were going to turn up.
  8. As above. Best boots I’ve had.
  9. Apologies Stere, due diligence has revealed that they are indeed shysters! Bloody good kettle mind. Been faultless for a good few years now.
  10. Few tonne there John!
  11. Price you quoted for the route you quoted or re-quote then. Why the frick do they want it dragged through a pristine fussy garden when the neighbours are onside?
  12. Just buy them lots of cider afterwards.
  13. Know much about ropes, do you?
  14. Aye, there’s different types of thieves.
  15. It pays better for us Conor. We all hate it, and it’s physically harder than climbing, if you’re a savvy climber, so we charge more. We have the kit to blast through it a lot quicker than a £15/hr gardener, and charge accordingly. It’s still shite though.
  16. Ted doesn’t come on here any more, but @eggsarascal may have a contact for him.
  17. Bloody felt like it Mick! Luckily only missed the games I was less bothered about. Had time to cook a spag bol with the kids and now eating that with a bottle of rouge on the go and more than half an eye on Ronaldo v France.
  18. Awkward one today on a previously mullered oak that had to be mullered a lot more for ‘insurance reasons’. 3’ butt and big knuckle, but apparently only 60 years old. Planted by some old boy who now lives in one of the houses responsible for the mullering! Mainly rig-tastic day over 3 gardens, so it was pretty full on. Luckily all cord stayed on site. Danny Mac up top, tipped off and coldies by 6. IMG_5286.MOV
  19. @eggsarascal are you still in touch with John? I think Mendip still is if you don’t have his number. Tirfors are great Will, but if it shits itself sideways they can’t keep up.
  20. Aye, same. Fair play Billhook.
  21. I think kids bring out the best in all of us Les. Our Beth is a twin as well!
  22. That’s a brilliant achievement Les. Very well done to her. I’ll tell my Beth to pull her socks up. She’s only 6, mind.
  23. I blame his mother....
