  5. Its an old gravity trip loader, in the commercial world its way back in the 70's It looks original and unmolested so its best market will be a collector, but since most of that is hobby they aren't keen on big spending.
  6. That will be handy for you rob, nipping down to tescos like:laugh1:
  7. There is a JW church near my dads house. I see quite a few clean cut "salt lake boys". They are polite if persistent but they will take no for an answer. I would rather have them in the neighbourhood than some of the "hoodie scrotes" I see lurking on street corners.
  8. It isn't supposed to, its so the old farmer can get his machine from one field to the next

  20. Flexibility is an asset:thumbup1:
  21. The NPTC units are almost universally specified within the UK. Competencies are "required" HSE and the NPTC is the market leader. Most employers and particularly main contractors require you to produce your "card". If you can get a cross over qualification you are going to have to get used to explaining things to site managers or health and safety officers:thumbdown: The other thing you will need is a CSCS card, its a very basic qualification required to work on construction sites, its cheap enough to get and you would have to have your head on backwards to fail the test.
  22. Looks like a page out of the Stihl catalogue to me and I like that
  23. The HSE guidance on this differs from your opinion. It only makes mention of defects or weaknesses, there is no mention of assessing the equipment's fitness for purpose. person who has appropriate practical and theoretical knowledge and experience to enable them to detect defects or weaknesses in the equipment It goes on to make several further mention of defects but comes nowhere near assessing the application of the kit.
  24. I have been a dedicated Stanley man since forever but brewing fresh coffee is one of my little luxuries and doing it on site is ace.
