  1. Dragged my Ifor with a tracked chipper before now, good enough for one trip but multiple trips would have been a PITA
  2. Not as good as you might think, its awful slow.
  3. They do get better but everything you cite makes them good for climbing particularly spikes. My last pair did three years with a mid term re sole
  4. I bought a pair of Haix air power gold in January and they are crackered and will be replace with a pair of Pfanner Zermats which I recon to be as good as it gets
  5. Why not?
  6. That sounds like a plan to me, wonder what would run out if you tried that over here?????
  7. Have a good read of the legal pack, look out for restrictive covenants that can stop you using the land as you might want to.
  8. Well you cant just slap a turbo on it, and that 222 is far from new so even if you did turbo it, how long would it last?
  9. Most of the ones that have had a tree cut?
  10. I have over the years seen many shrivelled up Inonotus brackets and that's exactly what they look like. Inonotus is one of the more common brackets on Ash and it really likes Ash. Its not Daldinia because its not smooth enough and not round enough Daldinia also likes Ash but it likes its victims dead and would typically be found on deadwood, firstly on smaller branches, moving onto the stem when the tree is a complete gonner.
  11. Its Ash that hosts the fungi and if look alike is all you need then fine
  12. I am sure they know a good job when they see it.
  13. I agree with Dave on this, way too much tut tuting in this industry. If an English teacher were looking in they would be able to criticise the title of this thread
  14. No and that's the wrong candidate for Inonotus as well For the OP that's most likely an old withered bracket of Inonotus hispidus, fell the tree quick, that nasty fungus is wrecking all the firewood
  15. Well that's just rubbish. Most of the vid is just noise and just when it gets interesting the camera man all but misses the good bit
  16. Chuck it all in the washing machine, had chain oil all over my kit before and it took no harm at all
  17. That's bad but I recon you got away lightly, that could have been a lot worse.
  18. I have known a few people that slate them but these are generally the same people that don't own a grease gun.
  19. I would be more worried about this one showing up:laugh1:
  20. I think you may have the name spelled wrong Is this your man Treescape About Us
  21. Sadly that's not been my experience. Buying mine elsewhere now.
  22. I like that, there is nothing quite like a healthy portion of overkill
  23. I made on a while back
  24. Mine is on a second battery with a split charge system:thumbup1:
  25. I use it for anything its suited to, in the past it has pulled stems over, tensioned speed lines, recovered vehicles, helped tracked chippers up ridiculous inclines, winched timber onto trailers.
