  4. Just had a client stand us down on starting a job next week as he had been told it is illegal to cut down any trees before September by the planning office due to potential nesting birds, this came as part of the letter back saying no objections from a conservation area application but...... as above. I was under the impression that it was only a problem if birds were actually nesting in those trees and not a blanket no trees must be cut at all... Opinions welcome but I'm off to look up the wildlife and countryside act... Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app

  9. Would 1 of your winch kits fit onto this mill rob as fancy doing a bit of milling again now we have a decent yard to work and store in again, and I only kept the mini mill and small log mill from when I was doing a lot more 6 - 7 years ago. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app

  11. No it hasn't been raised publicly as was promised it'd be sorted but that was start of year but then chased several times then talked at length at the show and was promised swift action but unfortunately it looks like it'll be back to phone calls every week. Always irritating as it's such a fantastic productive profitable machine to own. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app

  15. I'd try getting on to your banks fraud department especially if they said it looked ok and see if anything can be done about drawing the funds back or claiming off the bank it was transferred to as affectivly they have also committed a crime allowing someone to open an account in a I presume false name and use it for the purposes of fraud. 16. Nice, like the larch 1 with the light from the clouds racing over. Good tree work too 👍 Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app

  20. Ended up in a & e with a infection tracking up my arm from the tiniest blackthorn in my hand, dock took 1 look and into a side room, 2 massive injections of antibiotics a hand full of pills and 10 min observations for a few hrs to make sure it didn't make it to the glands near my armpit. Was strange as kept getting massive spots in random places on my arm for about 2 weeks after and needed a second lot of pills for a secondary infection in my skin. Think over the years I've seen more working days lost to little thorns resulting in infection than any other form of injury. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Got a hint from Tony at the arb show that he's in the process of making a new version of this as the original is no longer available so watch this space. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
