  1. It is if you put any in, water only and a cool setting. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Dish washer clean for me, just lay it out on top shelf and it comes out lovely and shiny, sometimes just needs a little wipe to get the loosened crud off the edges...... just don't let the Mrs find out! Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. This 1 should be cheaper to fuel than hungry Mike 😜 Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. Now that's really good, I'd be happy with that in my house 👍 Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. 👍brilliant 👍 Should work in nicely to a job we hopefully have coming up. Will get pictures and share as I think this is a really good machine and a useful tool to have available with a experience operator for those of us who don't need 1 often enough to shell out and get one. Really glad I wone as helps offset the cost of all the crap my Mrs bought at the show 😜 Thank-you Blake and nice to meet you and your Mrs, I'll be in touch soon. 6. Not good even to replace like for like with a brand new machine. Fantastic productive machine but no residential value which makes it very hard to justify getting a new 1 and seriously thinking if it's lost so much in 2 years what's it going to be worth in 1 more with no warranty, who's going to buy it when I want a new 1.... I lost 4k on my quadchip in 3 years which made it as far as the books went a very good investment, lost a lot more on st8 already. I know someone will say you have to build depreciation into your running costs but there's depreciation and then there's just plain loss. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Most accurate statement about these machines, definitely negative equity machines!! Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Comparison of my 2 372xp's for you Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Took my wife over 8 years to get over loosing our last retriever who we joke decided she was the one before I did and walked down the church Isle with her but she eventually allowed another pup into our lives who is very loving if not a little thick so you never know in time you might feel the need for unconditional doggy friendship again. Sorry to hear about millie. The goon Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. Nice but for 12" chipping, if your using that capacity for solid timber and not just bushy brash you really need 6 cylinder's and over 130hp to be affective and productive. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Will post you a picture of them on my 375 tomorrow, looks really good with handle done, big dogs and skip chain on a 28" bar.👍 Also for practical reasons it makes a very good chogging saw up a tree. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. Just spotted that's my HB20 in background I just sold to John, Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Heading to the show with family today so will call and have a look at your loader and a chat John Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. That's a big ugly lump of timber, found similar years ago on a oak that had been lightening struck, cost a fortune in damaged chains and having to get a bigger loader in to shift the butt as couldn't be cut up anymore, amazing how the trees can do it really. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. I'd say get some training and supervised instructions on saw use if you haven't already and you will quickly learn it's possible to make all sorts of cuts to timber larger than your bar length quite safely. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Now this is a stump grinder!! Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Just because.... Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. Don't be daft, I have willing staff for that 😉 Actually had a good bit of live sound timber at the back against the wall but couldn't drop it that way because of other trees. Got 7 to do, all of similar size and consistency which is nicely running in the new 880. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Yip And a big 1 at that! Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. Not a lot to make a hinge but it went over all the same, thankfully in the correct direction. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. No help sorry nick but we haven't had the same with our apprentice. Boots we found hard but gustharts found some chainsaw boots to fit eventually, I do believe Stine do some very small hi viz stuff as got 1 for my daughter which is still a little larger but she is only 9. Strimer harness you might have to modify something yourself as I don't think you will have much joy finding anything smaller than what you have. Might be worth a look on here https://m.engelbert-strauss.co.uk/ As I seem to remember they did lady's work clothing. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Very true I guess, just 1 of life's little annoyance's this is about the only reason I still do logs as that always gives us something to drop onto should anything stop a team going out. Actually had a client demand compensation for us not going to do his job on the scheduled day even though it was 1 of the stormiest days that year and we were run off our feet trying to clear road's and it just wouldn't have been safe to top his £150 back garden conifer in those conditions, think we ended up giving him some mulch for his garden just to shut him up in the end. 23. The two you mention just have to be taken on the chin it's when clients want to postpone at 8pm the night before or even on the morning you have booked with them that annoys me especially when they have been chasing since the day you looked at it. The 1 that nearly cost me a lump was when a powerline shutdown was cancelled at 3pm the day before and I had extra lads and gear booked to get job done on time, no explanation just it'll be another 3 months till we can re-book it which is annoying since I'd already had 6man days on job so got to stand it till we can finish job. 24. Any ideas on price yet? Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Gray git

    My new dog.

My big daft lump of a retriever, not the cleverest but very loving, she loves coming to work and having a ride out with the lads. If she isn't with me I get greeted as soon as I get home, how do they know Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
