  1. Isn't your quad chip advertised on redwoods site though? Almost though about seeing if you fancy doing a deal against a st8... [emoji6]
  2. 6x8" it's my old 222 that the engine died and trailer was fairly knackered so I cut it up and turned it into a pto, works really well but running it on a 150 hp tractor is a bit over the top, keep thinking about selling it but has sentimental value as its how I met the wife doing some contracting with it in around 2004. 3. We run it on a valtra that has a utch on the pto yes when I used 1 on a mog it too had a air clutch which ment the shafts could turn freely when disengaged, the overrun just gives the transmission some protection from the flywheel mass should you drop the rpm quickly, I got 1 not too expensive from local tractor dealers when I built the quick chip which isn't too big and just slipped onto the input splines on the gearbox. 4. Our farmi has a overrun clutch fitted with a shear bolt in as well which you can just see in. Behind the guard in picture. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Sounds like something my day would be involved in! Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. No your in luck it's back in my yard looking like a brand new machine if you want to call in and make me a offer [emoji6], I thought the st8 was big compared to my quad chip but Sat next to the 90 it's tiny. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Link isn't working, don't think you can directly upload videos to arbtalk but need to upload using another platform like YouTube. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Definitely! How's massy going, new front shoes I see. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Ha haa, think we will leave her to security and sandwich stealing duties although she is quite good at dragging brash but normally in the wrong direction. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. Unfortunately I don't need your services but would still like to say what a really fantastic setup you have and it's nice to hear a employer praising staff so highly a involving them in there machine setups, also 1 of the best written adverts I have read for a long time. Get some more photos up if you can. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Knocked it in you mean. Yeh looks like it has had a scar before I got her, unfortunately it's buckled round the headlight and alone the side panel almost to the door post so might need a who new skin or pick up a whole 2nd hand corner and spray it to match. Still works so it'll have to stay as is for a few weeks till I get time to sort it out. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. I carried the palax processor on the loader on massy a few times with a trailer on back to site to get logs and would happily do same with our farmi as it's not too heavy for a 10" chipper, very annoyingly the bottom pins on it aren't wide enough to pick it up with valtras front linkage or I'd do the same with that. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Should add skip to 1:30 ish for chipper. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. Don't think I'd fancy it on the road, was thinking of putting a tow ball on my farmi for pulling ifor around site but nothing bigger and not a agri type trailer with a lot of drawbar weight. If you had the money the opposite way would work fantastic with chipper on back of trailer, emptying might be a pita if it didn't side tip mind! Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. One of the lads came back tonight rather unhappy with himself with this to show for his efforts. Should tcut out with a bit of elbow grease........ Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Think the Arb association has a template on the help for arborist section of there site which you can download free and alter to suit, I use the fisa/afag leaflets to base safety talks on as it is laid out in front of you to talk over, not perfect by any means but better than nothing. Let me know how you get on. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Wasn't he dagma as well. Know what your saying, some of the old threads on how a job was tackled were always a interesting read but I can see how some postings replies could put people off trying to explain there work strategies. Heck even silky is quite these days! Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. Yes apparently a 3rd party redoing the paintwork was responsible as as this is still unresolved redwood have fitted new panels instead of my referb edge one's. So new bonnet, new hopper, new side panels, resprayed spout, resprayed chassis, new axle and tires, reprogrammed ecu to allow feed rollers to reverse when stop bar is pressed in and cracked chipping chamber repaired, I think that's everything. So should be like a new machine but with a 400hr well serviced engine in it. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. It's a miracle....... It's coming back to me on Wednesday! Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. Mason's still have my old hb20 I think if that in you budget. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. She ain't called loon for nothing! That's a good picture Dean, thanks again for getting the machines sorted and up to us. [emoji106] Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Just a better state a debt my friend [emoji12] Luckily I got that money back I told you about so with that and massy money it paid for grinder then a lot of hard work and graft put half down for 90. I look at it as a investment as these machines should outlast anything else I could have bought and still retain a value in itself. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Well I last posted on 26th of June and I still don't have a machine back that's now over 10 weeks for repair and new paint work and nearly every week I was promised it back and it never materialised. Considering I was told they could fix everything in 1 day in my yard it takes the piss how long it has taken in the factory. While it was away the curtisy machine broke down twice, 1 I fixed as was in a rush the 2nd required a fitted to come out which to be fair was done very quickly but he did have the parts in stock. Since then I decided to get a new bigger machine so found someone who was very keen on buying my st8 off me, we arranged a deal and as redwood had promised my machine back that week all was good. Wrong! 3 weeks later I still did not have it back and had a very pissed of buyer on the phone telling me to stuff the deal he was off to get another machine as needed to get on with some work which is expected but not good for me as now have to go through the pains of selling it when it eventually comes back. I even asked redwood if they were willing to buy the machine off me as a good will gesture for causing so much inconvenience to be basically told no they didn't want it nor did they have room for it. So I will have a fully factory referbed and repainted for sale soon if anyone is interested give me a call. John Lawrence Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. We have upgraded our machines a bit recently and thanks to Dean we now have 2 shiny new bandit machines to play I mean work with. Zt1844 90xp with a little winch mod. Sent from my F8331 using Arbtalk mobile app
