  2. Mmm. Quite possibly
  3. Can anyone ident this tree. Its got me stumped, and as its in my brother in laws back garden at his new house,i said i woukd know what it is from a picture, and i dont!
  4. Hope you get it back. I gather you can get a master key for that style transit, they used kne on a guy near me to open his van and emlty it out overnight. Scum
  5. Now that sir is one fine piece of kit! Hats off to you. Can i ask the price of the digger and the engcon on its own. also, is it dead on 3tone, or 2.7? Looking at the 2.7 as it will go on a high capacity plant trailer
  6. Either a dodgy solenoid, or starter motor. Have you tried tapping the starte with a hammer whilst holding the key over?
  7. Jumping on the whole gm and peruzzo debate. The idea of putting two engines on a chipper to do two different things just seems expensive, when one engine can do both.my first ever chipper was a bolens tomahawk 12hp. this had one great feature, in that you could start the engine without the blade drum being enganged. You then pulled a lever that engaged the drum, thus making starting easier. If gm were to use this system, could they then not utilise the same engine to operate tracks, then engage the blade when in stationary mode? Would make a cracking bit of kit!!
  8. If its any consolation, my mate left one of his lads using his cs100 while he was up a tree, and the machine stopped. He came down and could no re start it. The remaining brash got hauled away at expense, and the cs100 stripped down in his spare time. It was only after lots of effing and blinding did the lad ask if it was anything to do with the red stop button he had pressed!
  9. I had a similar issue on one of my crushers, hydraulic oil coming out the breather. Turned out to be a faulty pressure relief valve in the end.
  10. Beat me to it. I have one, and it really works!
  11. Look up terrasaw. Its an agressive blade for a cut off saw designed for cuttimg sleepers, tree roots etc.
  12. To be honest, it makes no difference.,they rot just a quick, amd now all the nasty chemicals they used to inject into the post have been banned, and the stuff they use now is useless. I had to replace an 8 x 8 gate post recently that had snapped at the base due to rot, had only been in 8 years, and it wasnt even the post the gate hangs on!
  13. Any one run a 3.5 tonne double cab know if you can totally remove rear seats to gain a flat floor?
  14. Spot on, although he may prefer a 2.6 tonner, as it can be legally towed without going down the hgv route Also, try and get a kubota. Guaranteed to get your money back if you sell it
  15. Cant see a problem, but if its a higher flow rate, you will find the boom swing a bit faster than it is now
  16. It probably did, usual problem, lost it on site trying to bodge something.
  17. http://www.oakgardenmachinery.co.uk/product/bulldog-bde3500e-diesel-generator-3kw-electric-start/ I have one of these, amd managed to blow the little glass fuse when i used the 12v charger. Does anyone know the correct size fuse to put back? I am assuming 10amp?
  18. Smart set up. Do you use much ad blue?
  19. You can buy a special funnel that filters out the water. Funnel man i think its called. It works a treat. Everytime i service my crushers, you see the amount of crap hirers put in instead of fuel!
  20. Cabstars now have limited slip diff as standard, so getting stuck not an issue. Personally, would never have a transit. Only concern is a rumour that the cabstar is being discontinued, if so i will look at mitsubishi,,or izuzu if they do a double cab
  21. Lets be clear, these guys are not bailiffs. They are high court officers, they have more powers than bailiffs. Bailiffs are not allowed to force entry onto your property
