  1. Do you not have time to do it yourself? Its really pleasing when you finish up with an as good as new machine all done in your own workshop!
  2. Had this a couple of times myself. Its the o ring that goes on the fuel bowl as it clmps to the bottom. It was cheaper to buy a new carb than replace the o ring ironically!
  3. A sad state of affairs when self employed person rips another off. I always go to court, no matter what the circumstances. The one time i lost, i still got my money, just a different way, which i couldnt possibly mention on a public forum ?
  4. Have to strongly disagree. I have an eliet super pro, alongside my timberwolf 6inch. For back garden work, and shredding up ivy covered shrubs, thorny stuff, conifer and laurel, the eliet is a beast. Its got 24 razor sharp knives cutting at different angles, and as such, its very economical. That video shows the machine with blunt blades. I paid 9 grand for mine.
  5. When i was kicked out of my first yard by the council, after some kind person reported the farmer for sub letting a barn, even though he let me have it free( the person was eventually found and dealt with), i struggled big time. Eventually i landed on my feet. 1060 sq ft barn, mega secure. Elec, wash down bay, free water, trailer storage, and a compound for logs and storage of landscape materials, crushed concrete etc. But, 530 a month plus vat. Its 3 miles from my house, and i get on so well with the farmer, anytime i eant to borrow something , even the manitou, i can help myself he gave me a key to his barn!
  6. Some of those flags look heavy buggers to lay! Was it bradstone old town? What did you use for the joints?
  7. Whats that hitch arrangement on the yellow one pete? Is that for a third axle coupling?
  8. I managed to fix a pond with your problem by mixing up a render, adding waterproofer liquid, amd wizard fibres. They are basically fibreglass strands that allow movement. It worked a treat
  9. Problem located, and solved. I had the front tyres changed, and the clowns that re installed the wheel caps, failed to align them correctly, so the wheels were not put back centralised. They have wrecked the two wheel caps, and i confronted them with the evidence, they have held their hands up, and are replacing them. Thank goodness
  10. Mine does the same thing. If you back up a slope and tip,it doesnt like it. Might be worth you emailing vfs and asking why. I wonder if its some kind of safety mechanism, in case the whole truck falls on its side?.?
  11. I had a similar issue on a brand new ingimex tipper. It wouldnt tip anythig heavier than half a tonne. After complaining to them, they sent an engineer out from the factory to " up the pressures". From then on, it would tip anyhting you put on it! My current scattolinni tipper has a multi stage ram, and the guy who came out to convert it to three way said they have maximum power at start, but by the time it gets to the top, its reduced. So in essence, there is a way of adjusting it, but i dont know how!
  12. Its a joke. One minute diesels are polluters, next they are not, now they are again. We cant win
  13. Red diesel 60p litre, petrol, £1.30. You do the maths!
  14. Would bent wheel not vibrate when off the ground?
  15. I have noticed my mpg has gone up a bit!
  16. Gold price for the gm130, but its going to cost you a lot more in fuel over the years than the equivelent diesel counterpart
  17. Hadnt looked at that. Would the uvj on the front possibly be the issue, hence no joy when lifting the back of the truck up? Steering does not vibrate massivley
  18. Bit of an unusual one, as title suggests, get a reall bad vibration anything over 60mph. Had front tryes replaced and balanced, no joy. However, brake warning light came on, mechanic replaced all brakes, and noticed one rear barke had seized on due to a faulty handbrake. He released it, bjt a few days later, the other side siezed. Its booked in for replacememt cables on thursday, and i have been using reverse gear as a temporary handbrake, but wondering if this brake problem has caused the vibration issue? I jacked the back of the truck up and got the speed up to 70mph, but no issue? I should add, its a nissan cabstar
  19. Is there an emoji for someone banging their head against the wall?
  20. You from my neck of the woods?
  21. Am i reading correct, despite the catalogue of usual ford cockups, your getting another?
  22. Will have to do that next time i am over there
  23. Mmm. Quite possibly. Picture was taken today
