  1. used to have a munro jacket. best jacket for walking but tree climbing was a bit warm.
  2. its a personal choice; have a try of a few at your nearest arb dealer or at one of the shows.
  3. There's been a big wood fire up at Middlesborough which has only just gone out. All the firefighters could do was let it burn itself down and then damp down every so often so there wasn't clouds of smoke everywhere.
  4. I think the expense is because of the rarity of them. Apparently they can taste like a pharaohs sandal.
  5. I wear glasses all the time and I had to have safety glasses for my last job so I had to get a pair with prescription lenses. I ended up getting a pair of bolle trackers which have an insert for your prescription which sits between your eyes and the ordinary lens. Don't really have any problems with steaming up.
  6. (For some of the older members): Has it got a brass handle?
  7. If you've only got road tyres the grooves just fill up with mud just like on a car. Put some AT tyres on at least. Did you use low box and diff-lock?
  8. Have you tried Brit-tip? They seem to do some good conversions.
  9. Saw that at saltex a few years back on the orange plant/timberwolf stand. Apparently a one off.
  10. my l200 is a 54 plate and has done just over 105k.
  11. Looks like you'll need to go to North Dakota or Michigan for that one. Just hope wetherspoons do it on their next American beer festival.

    Ipad??

Some phones also allow you to create a wifi hotspot.
  14. it has to be wensleydale with fruit cake.
  15. how many of those are from Mr Blair? Although Igottacabstar made quite a few didnt he?
  16. Have a word with Chris Sheppard on here. I think he runs a similar sized machine and he also worked for riko for a bit so knows about the attachments side of things. Off the top of my head I would say flailing rides etc would be a start.
  17. seem to remember flamin ace putting that vid up and saying it was his grandad.
  18. jimmy hesledon of hesco? his gaff was at boston spa near jackdaw crag iirc.
  19. could they not just have been lost and were coming to ask for directions?
  20. my grandad who served in africa and italy saw mussolini being hanged with clara petacci and had a photo of them which very rarely came out. Again he only told us of the funny things that happened. The only time he spoke of anything bad was at the time of the kings cross fire which brought back memories of when he was in london during the blitz and he was one of the first people into a tube station that had taken a direct hit.
  21. How to fell a tree by jeff Jepson. mainly aimed at the American market but has some good descriptions and diagrams.
  22. the main argument seems to be that been ripped apart by a pack of hounds is a lingering death but having a huge hole blown in them by a high powered rifle and dying slowly from loss of blood or infection is perfectly fine.
  23. my grandad was a driver in london during the blitz and then became an ambulance driver in africa sicily and italy.
  24. reminds me of morecambe and wise with des o'connor: with a sense of humour you need a suit like that and with a suit like that you need a sense of humour.
