  11. Interesting post Hope it is not too rude to comment on the L.O.L.E.R. aspect. Using rigging kit as part of p.p.e. interests me. I'm told that riding the hook of a crane & using a materials handler with a basket is acceptable as long as the thorough examination is within the last six months, does this also apply to our rigging kit ?

  19. Handy chart :-) . Duly downloaded , cheers Mr. Flatters
  20. Used motomix cans are a lot more usefull than empty aspen cans
  21. Loosen pivot bolt enough to let the catch stopping it going over centre (you can see the line in the paint) go overcentre. Hook springs on , latch the catch back under , do up the pivot bolt
  22. Sounds like the Oregon bio oil I'm using Even tastes quite nice
  23. I love Hardknot in the Landy. The Duddon valley has changed so much in the last few years with the clearance of the plantations and the re-naturalising
  24. Only hit the big 50 this week so still a lot to learn The young buggers on their mobile phones have been turning me into a demonic ogre for more than half my working life (or so it feels)
