  1. That's handy to know Mendi I'd been looking at the slot and wondering. The landy on its bfg muds doesn't worry but it does dig unnecessarily large holes:blushing:
  2. A Scheaff /Terex punches well above its weight. In the 1.5 tonne class they are hard to beat (in my experience). Even engcon show one on a tilt/rotator.
  3. Interesting point. I shall have to go through my stock of new valves to see if there is any difference between the cores of lawn tractor and lorry valves.
  4. They can't risk being left with small people at the end of the school day.
  5. It's a great book, got mine from treesource. Love the understated American style:thumbup1:
  6. Bought mine from a tiling suppliers, they called it a vanity disc.
  7. An arbtalk glossary would be really handy:thumbup:
  8. Yup. She said it was dead easy to machine the capstan of the Harken smooth and space out the self tailing to take a rigging line. After that the fabrication of the mount was easy. Her boyfriend is a coded welder so it came as a big shock that the "health and safety gone mad" brigade wouldn't sign it off as safe.
  9. L.o.l.e.r. ?
  10. I have a 'Presso' It's a hand cranked device that looks like the offspring of a mating betwean a corkscrew and a stirrup. Tis very rare to taste better coffee
  11. Mnnnn. I've enjoyed ruby red in Devon
  12. I was very pleased that a special effort was made to make peoples christmas happen. Too many years as a subcontractor in the supply chain has made me sceptical of some retailers ethics. Dead chuffed to have bought just about everything from local businesses this year. Happy xmas to you all and may the new year be a tad less wet
  13. Good publicity for tesco. Just hope that they won't be making their suppliers pay for the charter costs.
  14. Love mine I can sit for hours watching the pistons doing their stuff and find the sound really relaxing
  15. Velcro top and bottom here. I find them comfy even though i'm not an every day climber. Certainly nicer than others i've used.
  16. Yup, regular viewer here. When the new saw is run in I shall be looking to get a 201,260 & 441 tuned up. Trouble is I run Aspen. Where should I go?
  17. Sitting here drinking black rat and wishing that the date hadn't clashed. The "rat" can do odd things. I am hoping the promised dismantle will be as much fun as you chaps will have
  18. Will I be the first with negative equity?
  19. Would that be the Grand Western?
  20. I am wondering if our random weather makes "correct" timing of pruning impossible to do?
  21. Do you have any idea why both your tool strop and your harness tool attatchment failed to do their job? That looks well scary
  22. Tracked loader with a four in one bucket and burn on site. It may be worth looking into saving the stems for those trendy wood fired pizza places. The good old drott still has a place
  23. Just dont damage the whipping as it could fail L.O.L.E.R. If you did damage it you could re-do yourself but homemade ppe is a minefield. I was advised by a loler inspector to put a few wraps of tape round that could easilly be removed for routine checks and the 6 mont:001_smile:hly
  24. Done it:blushing:
  25. 020 clutch drum?
