  1. That's interesting reading...will check it out next time I have to replace ANOTHER honda engine...
  2. I think the little warning triangle under the posters avatar is there to report posts if you like...
  3. We have had these for a few years...no issues... and you can daisy chain them [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/TomTom-Universal-High-Speed-Multi-Charger-Smartphones/dp/B004SH3ERC/ref=pd_sim_23_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=41Fd6p0gXXL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1302NR1BFCGE4YQFYW82]TomTom Universal High-Speed Multi-Charger (iPod, iPhone, Smartphones): Amazon.co.uk: Electronics@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Fd6p0gXXL.@@AMEPARAM@@41Fd6p0gXXL[/ame]
  4. Just use salt in the cambial layer directly under the bark. As they said above fresh cut a layer from the stump and cut with the chainsaw a line in the cambial layer stuff and with salt and cover it. Do it in the growing season, which is very soon
  5. I was always under the impression that even though the tree is in your garden your not responsible for overhang. Eg if a neighbour wants the overhang reduced to the boundary you as the owner don't need to do the works. Please correct me if this is wrong or is this correct?
  6. I had a client once who had a tree fall out of their garden . She asked for a quote to clear the whole lot. Then about an hour later after talking to their insurance they said a quote up to their boundary only as they won't insure anything that falls out of the garden so can you re quote for loads less work....this may help you...
  7. But the red car looks so much prettier against the green donchathink....
  8. You want to try and get the chainsaw cutting from the inside so the chain is cutting clean wood and just flicking the outside off...(for the sleepers) does that make sense?
  9. Stop being so tight 😂 get a tomtom go 5000 from amazon for £180. World wide maps with free sim/traffic for life. Job done!
  10. I THINK Westcon Equipment are pretty good...01258 859100... others may beg to differ
  11. Ian!.. a whole page without photos.....c'mon...play the man!
  12. It's not the headphones...it's the output of the mobile phone I think it's to do with EU law...I'm gonna take me a look at that amplifier!
  13. You should also use one when your stump grinding...maybe, unless of course you smoke...
  14. Stephen Blair....for all his nuggets of wisdom...
  15. In my experience.... they will just waste your time. there will be no free advertising and then another more important news article will come along....and the article will not be broadcast. just saying..
  16. Don't wear anything bright as you just become a target 8:)
  17. I've heard that the Italian alps are the better place to be for the lack of snow at the mo.... Just keep the snow dance up! I think off posting is gonna be interesting. If there is snow then La Blame at La Clusaz is basically ski lifts to off pisting with relatively cheap ski passes, and while your there you can visit Le Grand Bornand, Careful for the avalanches which are going to be rife what with the slippery base due to lack of a proper base....
  18. You need to... get the diamond disk blade as mentioned above. To sharpen quite often, as someone the other week said, metal tools on wood must always be sharp! Then you need to talk to these guys who are brilliant and really cheap. Stump Grinder | Stump Cutter | You want to be getting (probably) the Vermeer Pro which will fit where a finger tooth will, but they don't break due to their meatiness factor. You can also get a power inverter and a very long extension lead so you can sharpen in the field from you car/van. Also don't let the teeth get too filed down as they loose their ability to cut and of course angle the tooth so you have a leading edge, if you see what I mean. Good luck and don't f... it up.
  19. WHAT! Take That on TV...Oh NO I'll have to get it on iPlayer...Thank goodness for technology ...phew
  20. That's a very good price, I think Reg Coates films all his stuff on Drift cameras, or at least he did.
  21. Isn't London classed as a forest, or something like that?
  22. Would this be useful for us out in the field RevMedx XStat device FDA approved to seal wounds for civilians - Tech Insider
