    With the Japanese forward control trucks you get the best payload but you do pay for it in ride quality, I think if you only do local stuff that's ok, but by the sounds do it you do a bit more than that.

    Here is an alternative that I posted a while back.... I use proteeth because we can use a diamond disc in an angle grinder to sharpen them whilst the teeth are in situ. If you don't blunt them too much then it take around 7 minutes to sharpen all of them. We also have a 1000w power converter from the truck battery and a very long extension lead for when clients are not in. I brought 3 diamond discs about 2 years ago from abtec for around 50 and they don't really wear out. I do not work for this company but I said I would post his details here: I brought copies of vermeer proteeth (he has other brands/copies)from this guy called Glyn at http://www.qrmslimited.com/products-.../stump-grinder Err at almost half price, very nice guy very good service.

    I remember back in 2001 there was a car bomb in my high street and the plane trees were in the blast, I knew one of the guys the council and he had to re pollard them... and they are still there now. Planes are as hard as nails.

    Had mine done at Paddington springs. They are 9 leaf and don't jack the back up too much but handle the weight when loaded.... very pleased with them

    Got this request from a tree officer today, can anyone help me please QUOTE: 1 x lime: Crown reduce to previous, most recent reduction points, retaining shortened furnishing growth at previous reduction points ( 3-5 stems shortened to 0.5-1.0m in length) and at least 50% of fine branch structure. --I get the first bit about CR to PP, it's most of the rest I need help on. Do they mean to reduce the longer/bigger regrowth to leave the smaller re growth? Cheers in advance Adam

    I ended up getting 60 teeth (the vermeer pro teeth) and discount was really good, especially when you compare them to other peoples prices! Mention that you got the number from Arbtalk, I said I would spread the word for him.

    We re sharpen in situ with an angle grinder with diamond wheel. Diamond coated vanity blade / Abtec4Abrasives And I have just found, and used, these guys for grinder teeth at a very reasonable rate. Really nice to deal with, and very efficient. Stump Grinder | Stump Cutter | Sharpen often, and replace teeth when they get too worn down(25% of face of carbide tip), this really effects performance. Make sure the leading edge/tungsten tip is proud (and sharp!) of the holder behind Just to add: we have a 1000w power convertor in the truck (if there is no client in) and a 50m extension lead to sharpen on site

    Mac... Even after 5/6 years they still have some value where as a pc is worthless the minute you've brought it. If you look on the apple website they sell recon computers with full warranties, look down the bottom of the 'the store' page
