  1. Your not going to be able to fill it up to the corners, so why have them????????????? Snap! Dean.
  2. I read about this on here a while back, never seen it personally.
  3. Very true!!! Since the demise of the self cert mortgage and the banks generally becoming like the rear end of a duck, SE has become much more difficult in many ways Many of use set up in the good times that are now long gone, trying to set up today will be muh, much harder, IMO. If you have no offer of a job, then in some respects you've very little to loose by giving it a go, but to turn down a job could well be a mistake.
  4. OK, learnt something there, I had thought it was crosscutting.
  5. You really are a rough bugger!! Or very unlucky with motors.
  6. Cheers:thumbup1: So really this thread should be in the "Landscaping" forum
  7. Petrol was often added too diesel, as an antifreeze. Why would a little petrol cause poor running?????
  8. I think its real appeal is its low MC when green, so will burn straight from the tree (although not advised)
  9. Excellent post mate!!!!!! Some times just water on that gauze can cause problems.
  10. I've never payed "up front" for insurance, they normally send you the paper work well before the DD starts or you pay the invoice. If at that stage your not happy just cancel and don't pay.
  11. There are people who dislike Oak as fire wood, it burns very hot, but with little flame. Personally I would mix it in.
  12. I'm guessing they don't play croquet
  13. Weight for weight it is!!!! Oak is heavier, so a cube of Oak will be heavier than a cube of almost any other timber. Selling by weight (dry) is a fairer measure of calorific value.
  14. I'm talking about limb removal wound that may take 20, 30, or more years to seal. I have seen hundreds of trees with huge wounds that have rotted back creating massive cavity's, IMO, it would have been better to have cut back to a growth point, instead of the stem, even polarding the limb is preferable to a huge wound.
  15. I seem to recall that the "WD" stands for "water displacer", so maybe you carb had Some water in it that was displaced, those curing the problem.

    660 v 395 xp..

My 440 was stolen, they are no longer available, my dealer, who I trust implicitly, reckons the 441's are not great, so I went for a 460. I will be getting a new 660 before they stop production.
