  1. Sorry for the lack of info The yard will be on the industrial estate near meadows lane, coseley we will be taking chip for free and can dispose of barsh and logs ( knotted up conni) for a minimal charge if your are interested post this thread or pm me

  3. Hi mate yeah the canopy was custom built by gamic trailers in Wales. It's very similar to an ifor Williams canopy but with added doors on the side. Cheers

  5. Im taking down 50 massive connies chipping the brash going to be loading most of the timber on a roll on roll of skip. loads of cord there if anybody wants to collect it .   7. hi guys and girls , ive been considering buying a tractor crane combo with a large grain trailer eg. valtra with roofmount botex . i wondered how many people would consider hiring in kit like this iv worked out a day rate of around £300 this could include disposal of chip and timber if required if i do buy one ill most probly get a 8inch tp chipper it seems a shame to chip anything above that size with logs selling as they do . Maybe a processor at some point to id be happy to jump out the cab as well lol any input would be great:thumbup:
  8. i Have a 8ft long 17inch wide yew that i would like planking. I plan to use it to make a table out of a large stump im just out side of kidderminster and h have flat concrete to work off a price would be great
  9. i have a vermeer sc 186 like sc 206 smaller engine it has nine pairs of finger teeth , i have been putting a r/h and a l/h in each is this correct or should i be using straight teeth aswell seems to work ok just wanted to check

A friend of the family has asked me to manage 20 acres of woodland my buisness involves mainly urban trees etc so this should be fun the client doesnt want to pay for the work but says i can have the benifits of any grant ,sales of timber just wanted to know which grants are avalible the tree were coppiced at some point in the last 40-50year by my guess and is almost only sycamore at perfect processing sizes any help would be great

  12. what are you paying for your yp advert ive been qouted 1800 for a single/colour ad seems steep when the sales woman said it would generate 8 calls a month lol
  13. im after a small hiab crane something like 020 025 or similar atlas/ palfinger to fit on my ifor its towed buy a defender so that will cope with the weight
  14. what the other firm is doing is not illegal, my mom is a architect alot of builders will write to customers offering quotes contruction works related to the planning it is common practice and i dont think that there is anything wrong with it. Ive often thought about doing it myself just never got around to it id probly only target apps without contractors its a dog eat dog world lol
