  1. But "permanent 4X4" actually mean 1 wheel, front or back, not both. When you lock the centre diff you get 1 wheel front and one back. Unless you fit lockers to the axel diffs you will never get all 4 wheels turning in the sticky stuff.
  2. Obviously I don't chose the thoughts that pop up, if I could that would IMO suggest some form of environmental control, which would be ridiculous. I can however and do decide which thoughts I ponder and which I dismiss. I just don't believe what your trying to propagate. We don't understand how the brain works, so why would we claim it to be autonomous? "I think therefor I am" just because some are not happy with the thoughts they have does mean they are not theirs. Sure I get occasional negative thoughts or worries, but I simply think through a plan of action if the worst should happen and then crack on, knowing planB is in place. The thing about the choosing when to more your hand, our brains contain all the information we call upon to make our choice, the fact this information is pulled together before we review it sounds pretty sensible to me.
  3. I had my two son's and then booked the snip. I went for the pre-op and was told I had a cyst (it had been that way for at least 15 years) they would remove the cyst at the same time, but this meant at least 2 maybe 4 weeks with no climbing. I decided this was not for me. Canceled the snip, organised a scan of the cyst to check it was benign, which it was. 15 years on, still got the cyst, never caused me any trouble and have since had 2 beautiful daughters, who have added to my life in ways I could never have imagined. Got to say I am so grateful I felt I could not afford a month off work
  4. Not sure what your point is? They got the bigger place because of hard work by the sounds to things. Are you saying they would have succeeded regardless?
  5. The point you seem unable to get your head around is that this thing is extremely subjective. Who decides what the parameters of "good" are? Is wealth everything?
  6. In my experience people who are unsuccessful or unhappy with their lives are keen to look for reasons outside themselves for their lack of success. While those who do well KNOW that is generally down to shear hard work. Many years ago a lad who was subbing to me, but also ran his own struggling firm, said to me "we are not all as lucky as you Dave" My reply was " its funny, the harder I've worked the luckier I've got"
  7. You are like a 4 year old who thinks saying something enough times makes it true.
  8. I have read this thread and the other with interest and watched the various videos. I have come to the conclusion that peoples experience of "consciousness" must vary greatly. It appears some have a problem that needs fixing, I don't feel this. I'm from a strict religious family. I have realised that unlike them I have no god shaped hole in me or my life. This to me feels like a substitute for religion, for people too smart to believe in god.
  9. They are pretty crap, BUT a very sound investment. My mates was stollen, at the time of the theft it was worth around £4.5K. The insurance buggered about, suggesting fraud etc, which was utter nonsense. By the time they payed him out, several months later, he got over £8K I guess like land they ain't making any more.
  10. Has it got sufficient oil in the tank? Too little oil will soon lead to the oil getting hot.

That change in legislation came 17 years ago in the year 2000, so its not like they change things every 5 minuets.
  12. Is the guard going down correctly? On my 350 if the guard is not going down completely every really slows down.
  13. I think its a downward spiral, when obesity was rare people took care to look like most others, they did not want to be the "odd one out". These days fatties are every where, so people feel comfortable being huge, often couples become huge together. Same goes for debt, in the past people where nervous and ashamed of debt, but now every one has it so its acceptable.
  14. Here we go again Full marks for consistence, I guess if you keep it up one day one of your predictions will come true........................maybe
  15. Indeed because he KNEW it was going to be the winner
  16. If its shrouded why do you need clearance?
  17. I recently rebuilt my 540, with the heavier rear av spring and mount, so far its holding up much better. Its a good powerful engine, its such a shame its built into a plasticine body
