  1. Not sure what your point is? They got the bigger place because of hard work by the sounds to things. Are you saying they would have succeeded regardless?
  2. The point you seem unable to get your head around is that this thing is extremely subjective. Who decides what the parameters of "good" are? Is wealth everything?
  3. In my experience people who are unsuccessful or unhappy with their lives are keen to look for reasons outside themselves for their lack of success. While those who do well KNOW that is generally down to shear hard work. Many years ago a lad who was subbing to me, but also ran his own struggling firm, said to me "we are not all as lucky as you Dave" My reply was " its funny, the harder I've worked the luckier I've got"
  4. You are like a 4 year old who thinks saying something enough times makes it true.
  5. I have read this thread and the other with interest and watched the various videos. I have come to the conclusion that peoples experience of "consciousness" must vary greatly. It appears some have a problem that needs fixing, I don't feel this. I'm from a strict religious family. I have realised that unlike them I have no god shaped hole in me or my life. This to me feels like a substitute for religion, for people too smart to believe in god.
  6. They are pretty crap, BUT a very sound investment. My mates was stollen, at the time of the theft it was worth around £4.5K. The insurance buggered about, suggesting fraud etc, which was utter nonsense. By the time they payed him out, several months later, he got over £8K I guess like land they ain't making any more.
  7. Has it got sufficient oil in the tank? Too little oil will soon lead to the oil getting hot.

That change in legislation came 17 years ago in the year 2000, so its not like they change things every 5 minuets.
  9. Is the guard going down correctly? On my 350 if the guard is not going down completely every really slows down.
  10. But SHE won!! Does not say much for those who lost!!
  11. I think its a downward spiral, when obesity was rare people took care to look like most others, they did not want to be the "odd one out". These days fatties are every where, so people feel comfortable being huge, often couples become huge together. Same goes for debt, in the past people where nervous and ashamed of debt, but now every one has it so its acceptable.
  12. Here we go again Full marks for consistence, I guess if you keep it up one day one of your predictions will come true........................maybe
  13. Django unchained ?
  14. Indeed because he KNEW it was going to be the winner
  15. If its shrouded why do you need clearance?
  16. I recently rebuilt my 540, with the heavier rear av spring and mount, so far its holding up much better. Its a good powerful engine, its such a shame its built into a plasticine body
  17. All things are relative
  18. I've come to the conclusion that my best option is to die young.
  19. I generally both cut and pull. I attach the rope and tension. Then make the cut, leaving a good hinge, the get back in the mog and pull. Normally reversing to allow a good view of whats happening.
  20. Cause you did I bet you set your VCR
  21. Maybe. If cut correctly you may have got it going 45degrees off target, not 90. A good thick hinge and a proper pull would have meant the hinge holding until it was going over. IMO the way it goes is just shoddy cutting, IMO.
  22. Not a chance that is Yew And as for the "tree surgeon" who said it was cherry oh dear Mick has nailed it, IMHO.
