  1. As in "amazingly" stupid??????????
  2. He should have looked at his "Available balance" not just "Account balance" the available balance shows cleared funds, not cheques awaiting clearance.
  3. I climbed on a mark1 for nearly 2 years, with no issues at all, I switched it for a mark2 at the APF, this one cracked within two weeks of use. I've continued using it with the crack has not got any bigger and I'm in no way concerned that the crack presents any genuine danger. I will exchange it when a mark3 become available.
  4. He really is an inspiration!!! Thanks for letting us see such a great side of human nature Paul!!!!
  5. One of my competitors runs 2, he swears by them. He ran a mog before, but could not stomach the maintenance costs. He does send out teams, rather than driving himself. I love my mog and it make my very small business very, very versatile. But no one drives it but me. Each to their own.
  6. A fresh file and a good eye is faster and gives a better edge IMO.
  7. I take it this is the one that was on ebay, I did wonder if it was such an "easy, cheap" fix why he had not simply repaired it and sell it running for a better price?
  8. You need only knock off the bark, no need to go deeper.
  9. The build up when cutting Ash is due to low water content, so it's not sap. You can get it also when cutting seasoned wood. I've never had it cutting green Oak. I've only ever had it near the back of the cutters, if they are sharp it should not really affect cutting and simply making a few goods through green timber other than Ash should bing the chain back clean and shinny.
  10. I heard an interview with a veteran that Brad Pitt had asked to help with his new film, Brad plays a tank commander and wanted to know what it was really like. One of the things the old guy said was that in the firm many in the tank are "grown men" he said that they had no one over the age of 21 in their tank, shocking!!
  11. If its heavily reduced why will it fall over? Its still standing now and was not felled by the high winds, so I would have thought a reduction would make it safe.
  12. I already knew you and I were VERY different, but the above really proves we are polar opposites , I do all those things most of the time!!! And have lived to the ripe old age of 45 relatively unscathed
  13. Ain't that the truth mate Where does time go these days????? its mental, time just fly's by, its scary
  14. Unfortunately Cameron did not say we would not pay, only that we would not pay on the 1 of December, the due date
  15. :sneaky2:I've never been caught But then it would take a pretty brave copper to approach any one wielding a 020
  16. If its not covered will it ever truly dry? May be better to have gaps, than the boards buckling up after rain.
  17. Come on John, every one knows you go to prison for using an 020 on the ground.
