  1. I often wonder how little congestion there would be if people just drove well, not nodding off at the lights, getting in the gap you need, not waiting for a bus sized one, knowing the width of your tiny car, instead of waiting because you think its 9' wide, the Mexican standoff at mini roundabouts when none of them go, etc, etc, I could go on!!!
  2. Read your highway code, then you won't need a good lawyer, works for me
  3. I did not say it did, I did mine about 13 years ago, but I have never felt the need to stop at roundabouts and passed my test in1987
  4. I took a driver improvement course (instead of getting done for DWDC) we went out with an advanced driving instructor and we were told to read a roundabout as we approached it and slowing well before if this meant we did not need to stop, roundabouts are "give way" not "stop". It may have been something else about your driving that tipped him off, because I not stopped at a roundabout unnecessarily for decades and never been pulled for it.
  5. These drivers are the most dangerous on the road IMO, often they do 38 in the 60 zone, but continue at the same speed when they enter a 30, they just don't take the effort to read the road around them, they are the same people who sit in the middle lane of the Mway regardless of whats around them, muppets!!!
  6. Oh yes and the ones on the inside lane joining a roundabout, who wait for truck or bus in the outside lane to finish pulling onto roundabout to see if the roads clear:confused1: ………………do they think a vehicle is going to come through the bus or truck and hit them?????????????????
  7. Very heavy rain showers, heavy hail showers, very cloudy, cold wind and the odd bright spell, getting pretty fed up with this weather now
  8. A demount one could be made, just give Alex a ring Schaeff HT12 Digger for Unimog. Excavator. Backhoe Back Actor | eBay
  9. The power to weight is outstanding!!!
  10. Chippers run by mogs are outstanding, I don't know if I could ever come to terms with a tow behind after 15 years of mog power!!! I don't know what my son would make of a 30hp tow behind after only ever using a Schiesling u400 with 245HP mog making it whistle.
  11. Hehe Ted, with our weather they are rusty before you get them home from the dealers :crying:
  12. Glad you said "cutter", not climber, ladders
  13. If you post this on the "wood craft" or "milling" forums, I'm sure you would get takers:thumbup1:
  14. I had in both elbows many years ago, I worked through it after about 18 months it cleared up. My right one has started giving me some jip again recently. One thing I have noticed is that my right elbow has developed a much longer point on it:001_huh: anyone else had this?? It's quite handy for getting near the bar in a busy pub:biggrin:
  15. No, would the rope not be grounded? As the tail is touching the floor?
  16. Was the ticket a condition of the hire Co, the contract, your insurance or just something you wanted to do?
