  1. Brilliant firm!!! Very good to deal with, common-sense approach, not the usual "computer says no" attitude too many firms have. I would recommend them to anyone!!!
  2. At least you could have foreseen there likelihood of them growing taller, although there should at least be scope for discussion and compromise, you should be prepared to contribute to the cost of any works, as you will be benefiting.
  3. Muppet!! Any chance of a "like" button Steve?????????
  4. The Butler boys are over there I think, they used to come on here.
  5. Trees may be necessary, but putting them where they block the view isn't, simply plant trees where views aren't blocked, its hardly rocket science:001_rolleyes: Also coppiced tree are more beneficial (environmentally) so trees can be managed in a way that has less impact.
  6. Pretty sure it has to be on an invoice, not sure about a quote.
  7. Not at all, I posted pic's of when I smashed my face up didn't I, pretty sure I was wrong that day Just being honest, I don't recall ever thinking I was going to die, but as I say that could well be due to my lack of perception, not the fact that I have not indeed been close to my end, but just got lucky
  8. I'm not sure I ever have mate, I think I may be a little to optimistic, or may just unrealistic
  9. I wouldn't bank on it.
  10. Well if they were just brokers, you could not rely on them to be good if you came to claim, it would depend on who they had put you with.
  11. I agree that cutting trees that were there before the houses is wrong, however I do feel for people who have enjoyed a view and then get it blighted by trees. There are places round here where the council have planted trees that are slowly removing some fabulous views
  12. I'm pretty sure the parts are the same or at least interchangeable .
  13. No, they are not a broker.
  14. Do any of you lads with processors that run chains use tungsten tipped chains? I really like the tungsten tipped blade on my 350.
  15. Is that fully comp and what value do you have it insured for?

I think it will be well under 1250KG, but I could be wrong.
  17. I'm paying rather more than that with the NFU, but at least I have peace of mind. Although I will watch this thread with interest.
  18. You reckon? [ame] [/ame]

Err no, uprating the springs in no way increases your payload, it may make a traffic officer less likely to spot your overloaded, but it won't add an ounce to your legal GVW, in fact the up rated springs are likely to be a little heavier than the originals, so your carrying capacity will actually be reduced.
  21. Not a saw I've ever bought, if they did stop building it in 2010, it could just be the chain brake handle thats 2015.
  22. Do you think there would be time to think? I reckon it would all just be a blur until it was over, but who knows? Him I guess??
  23. A far cry from the £200 a ton a few years back.
  24. A few years ago maybe, but these days its hardly worth the effort of taking it in
  25. :lol:Surely those two words cannot ever go together?????
