  1. I would argue it is relevant, this will be "non reactive to uv light" and confirm that I'm correct with Alder
  2. It is bad that they crack, however I don't believe one has actually come apart. My mark 2 cracked within a few months of getting it, its the top link, so I would argue not critical. I have continued to use mine and the crack has not altered at all despite the best part of 12 months continued use. I would not continue to use Stevie's with so many cracks, but I don't personally think there is any chance of one actually coming apart even if shock loaded.
  3. I have problems with my arms, we are supposed to be square, i.e. your span (arms out full stretch at each side, measure from finger tip to finger tip) should be the same as your hight. I am 5'10.5" tall, but my span is 6'4":001_huh:
  4. Have you priced the replacement part??
  5. We've all been there (well at least I know I have) main thing is you have moved on, we tend to learn more from our mistakes than we do from the things we ace
  6. I think its because the punter gets lots of quotes due to it being a big job, whereas with smaller jobs they often just go with the first quote if its reasonable.
  7. Not sure that will actually wash, distance selling regs etc.
  8. Its funny but the money is never in the big trees, it should be, but its not
  9. I hear what your saying, I'm by no means a big man, but if my wife does not buy L or even XL they are too tight and end up going back, I reckon in reality I should be a medium.
  10. WOW good for him, I guess thats what they call an "exit strategy"
  11. If YOU damage your own kit on someone else's job, I would say that is your responsibility to sort it in your own time. Its when OTHERS damage your gear that they should sort it, IMO.
  12. Really?? even the Protector Pro's????
  13. Looks to pill it through well in the clop!!!
  14. I had the orange haix last (also now in black) They were comfy and lasted fairly well, but I found I needed to tighten the laces several times throughout the day, I would go back to the standard Protector Pro's given chance
  15. I'm fairly sure 4 pointy fingers constitutes bulling David.
  16. Really?? Which model Stevie?? I've not seen a front mount ducker without blower for over 13 years, must be a much bigger flywheel than my first 6"er, I had extra paddles fitted to the back of the flywheel, but it still lacked draft
