  1. Chippers run by mogs are outstanding, I don't know if I could ever come to terms with a tow behind after 15 years of mog power!!! I don't know what my son would make of a 30hp tow behind after only ever using a Schiesling u400 with 245HP mog making it whistle.
  2. Cracking saw!!!
  3. Hehe Ted, with our weather they are rusty before you get them home from the dealers :crying:
  4. Glad you said "cutter", not climber, ladders
  5. If you post this on the "wood craft" or "milling" forums, I'm sure you would get takers:thumbup1:
  6. I had in both elbows many years ago, I worked through it after about 18 months it cleared up. My right one has started giving me some jip again recently. One thing I have noticed is that my right elbow has developed a much longer point on it:001_huh: anyone else had this?? It's quite handy for getting near the bar in a busy pub:biggrin:
  7. No, would the rope not be grounded? As the tail is touching the floor?
  8. Was the ticket a condition of the hire Co, the contract, your insurance or just something you wanted to do?
  9. You could post in the original thread, this would "bump" that thread up the listings and the member who posted it may update us all on how their start up when.
  10. Good to read things are going well for you Tony, new dogs look grand
  11. It's not obvious mate, I was shown by another member
  12. When you look at the list of "unread posts" there is a little blue square with a downward pointing arrow, click on this and it will take you to the post after the last one YOU read
  13. Lounge??????????
  14. Another consideration is the actual job in hand, if I were the main climber on a Crain removal with A road traffic management on, and many ground staff, I would be inclined to make great efforts to get another person to deal with things until I was able to attend. Where as Mrs Miggins tree can wait until tomorrow.
  15. You appear to have missed my point entirely. Someone who starts and runs their own company may well be the kind of person who would call a cab or make what ever other arrangements that were needed, IMO it is wrong to expect the same from your employees, this is possibly why they are employees.
  16. Probably for the same reason they work for him, rather than running their own show.
  17. Word.
  18. This discussion seems fairly pointless unless what constitutes a genuine emergency is defined.
  19. I would not want one given, awful things, thank goodness for progress.
  20. Many timbers will "spoilt", but this is defiantly Beech.
  21. You sir are ALL heart
