  8. and how do you prove competency:confused1:
  9. Hi So if i have a 3500 transit and want to tow a 2t trailer i would need B+E and if the trailer was 749kg I would just need B If I drive a Landrover with a trailer 3500kg i would need B+E
  10. its all about work positioning if your comfy and well positioned your cuts will be better than if you not as well positioned. take your time and act out your cuts prior to actually cutting them only takes 30 secs but makes sure your comfy and stable:thumbup:
  11. would you like it to be full side A4 and emailing over
  12. surprising how girth varies:confused1: but 27 metres is certainly a big one
  13. as per assessment schedule common names generally trees that are on site or can use pics if needed.
  14. 20 mins ish to charge i mainly use it in the garage but also take to use as a chipper saw. I honestly would say it would be worth buying you will definitely find it more accurate to use and ideal for delicate work. Not sure where you are based but would really like come and see you work if you wanted a go with mine. You can put the battery on a waist belt so it would be rediculously light as well which would be no good for me but might work for you?
  15. I have 1 and really pleased with it amazingly accurate and smooth and runs1/4 battery lasts a fair time not sure how long as tend to not use constant. My guess was nearly as long as a tank of fuel. I tend to fill it with oil every other charge. It does charge fast and probably 2 batteries would keep you going
  16. It's 11mm any ideas please
  17. My concerns re this are that the gus will have very little effect unless they are super substancial and also the fact that you are thinking about this shows you must have concerns and if the tree did fail would you not have basically admitted your concerns and be totally liable? Could it not be guyed just like bracing?
  18. do not bother swapping the carbs just change the bar and side plate and keep his saw. Thats what my mate did to me i think:blushing:
  19. inspirational
  20. for turning no need for a mill as just cut down the grain a mill is to keep it straight and even for longer. I have just slabbed a load at 14 inch freehand and no problems:thumbup: the round stuff I usually cut at lengths as to any twists or leave them till i know what I want
  21. So did you doubt me:thumbup1: strops are usually sold as SWL and generally 7-1 from mbs. but been realistic what rope are you using and that will be the deciding factor
  22. absolutely amazing how man days was that:thumbup: What did you treat it with?
  23. new is similar to any new rope but old is always harder
  24. does it need lolering generally not till 6 months old? but some firms may be different
  25. think thats your wll not swl but yes they are strong:thumbup: slings are 7-1 and 3 ton sling basketed would be 6 ton so sorted if thats the way you want to go. but your anchor would be the biggest issue as already stated
