  1. not sure the title is right nice Tag:thumbup:
  2. generally the wording is no Unauthorised persons within 2 tree lengths but as long as they are controlled then that usually suffices otherwise you would have to shut roads and evacuate houses or even shut schools ect. IMO it would be completely down to the tree contractor and their work pattern ect well it would if I was the contractor
  3. is it for cattle:blushing:
  4. I changed to log central from gas If I bought my logs gas would be certainly cheaper. but would not burn as many logs if I bought them. If I was on gas I would turn it down more:confused1: Quality of life is better on logs that come free:thumbup: just opened the window as a bit hot in here:001_rolleyes:
  5. had this from a tree I removed. Had it dried and tongued some boards 4 inch wide up to 16 inch which I feel shows it,s not shop bought but I love it to bits. Also had the skirting boards from same tree. Even though it was kiln dried it still shrank but ripped out a board in the middle and wacked em all up and put a wider board back. treated with glanglaze which was allegedly the best for the job and lasts ages tbh
  6. I got a mince pie Finish lunch time tomorrow then on call for xmas back on Wednesday so a few days private tree work to fill the time off:thumbup:
  7. is that English
  8. Had one since they camo out and always been a fan:biggrin:
  9. humans are not allowed within 15m maybe developing a robot with a screen or loads of remote contolled cars Now that would be a laugh:thumbup:
  10. You always have a right to appeal. If you put a reasonable case forward they will re assess the claim. In all honesty if you put most of the points previously mentioned then I would be hope full of a satisfactory outcome.
  11. buy a new one but get the nortec one:thumbup: or try a rivet
  12. No problem I have a few bottles just none the right size. I thought they would of traded one in but No there is supposedly a shortage of 6kg ones
  13. seems fishy to me:blushing:
  14. Tried that yesterday and no joy at all 2 of them in the cage:thumbdown:
  15. was there a gas bottle in it 6kg:thumbup:
  16. I only want 1 2 would be a bonus but seen as millions have been cut up may be the reason no one local seems to have 1
  17. is that the same bench that has eaten my saw:001_huh:
  18. tried that they will do it for some sizes but not the 6kg

    I love Randoms my Randoms
  21. I used to do it sadly just do not have time to commit you really need to be able to drop everything and go just when the wind is right. I still have it in the loft and keep thinking about getting it out again. Pretty dodgy and dangerous though in all reality. I had a fair amount of close ones and a couple that ended up in hospital when my son leaves home I hope to start again:thumbup: There is not an experience like it:thumbup:
  22. without getting all my bumph out and then splitting hairs what you are saying is correct the way to comply with the puwer regs is to inspect under loler as generally winches ect The general view is they are ppe as if they did fail you are likely to hurt yourself A hi vis vest is ppe as are boots ect Yes they are a climbing aid but so is a rope and all the rest of it sorry could explain all this better but the outcome is still the same P.s I would not worry on the 5yr rule for spikes and I have never seen a footplate wear out:thumbup:
  23. Nice outcome well done stien Just to clarify they are classed as PPE and do need to pass a loler if you wish to comply with those regulations:thumbup:
  24. good man looks a lovely tree
  25. can I have 1 of your chops I love chops:thumbup:
