  1. the HSE recommends so basically they are the law so in that case it,s about as legal a requirement as their is tbh. But that is proof of competency
  2. obviously NO:thumbdown:
  3. Sorry matey but you are wrong You would only need 41 if lowering CS 39 now covers vertical pieces and step cuts so you CAN dismantle a tree unless you use a rope. It does not matter what size or anything But obviously you should build up your experience
  4. that will hold a lot of pennies:thumbup:
  5. what is a dishwasher is it something other than the wife if so tell me where to get one and will get rid of the wifey I only got married to have the washing up done and clean clothes and if a dishwasher can look after my helmet even better:thumbup:
  6. serious reply you can get a replacement foam liner for in the helmet from most suppliers for a couple of quid I have soaked mine in warm water to soften it then I just rub fairy liquid straight on and rub it into the straps and swill in warm water. But realistically for under £50 you can just have another:thumbup: P.s can we have a video clip of you washing your smelly helmet and also does it smell like the seaside:001_rolleyes:
  7. cheers Ian Glad the others were not giving advise to a heart attack patient:laugh1:
  8. it works for me: Thumbup:
  9. ART rope guide | F R Jones and Son Teufelberger pulleySAVER

  11. As the title says Any thoughts on how to fix lights to the branches without using cable ties that dig in and callous over Usually they are in for 5-10 years and have seen the demise of many a tree locally:thumbdown:
  12. Totally agree and we are not supposed to use screwgates. Why not just buy a proper cambium saver with a pulley Job sorted:thumbup:
  13. certainly would not be worried about a retrevable friction device if i was working on that fence. How tall are you:confused1:
  14. yep out:thumbup:
  15. I was begging not paying but would
  16. If there is a slice going begging then I am begging:thumbup: would look lovely sanded and oiled:thumbup:
  17. I do like mine but I have loads of ones that run on petrol as well and small medium and large but mainly orange ones:thumbup: every saw has it,s use it just depends what you want the saw to do:biggrin:
  18. can not believe no one else has asked for a pair of your tights yet:blushing: or a pic:thumbup: sorry:confused1:
  19. if you get a 14mm rope you only need a 16mm dead eye sling for a 16mm rope you get a 19mm dead eye sling
  20. got mine from frjones but quite simple to make but time is money
  21. does about 2 charges to a full tank of oil or should I say mine ran out but often oil in a petrol one would do nearly 2 petrols. I do not think it lasts as long as a petrol one but certainly ticks over quieter and more efficiently:thumbup:
  22. I am very happy with it was not sure when I got it but really like it:thumbup:
  23. are you serious in concern over a bit of paint on a bar. If that was what I had to worry about I would of been bald years ago. Take it back and get it re painted under warranty:biggrin:
  24. the new EKN never appeared is that still the case?
