  2. Please could someone recommend a City Centre Curry house for a stag do in Newcastle upon tyne:thumbup:
  3. you would need the owners consent legally
  4. First one made me feel dizzy:blushing: Nice looking splice:thumbup:
  5. You need to strip it down to get to the gauze filter. Not obvious to find ideally have an exploded parts list and it will all make sense:thumbup: or try blowing through from where the oil comes out but this will only be a short term fix but should sort it:thumbup:
  6. so do you expect to get more than you paid for it?
  7. Every Holme needs a door handle was there an ash close by that had a ash key that would fit:confused1:

    Parbuckling.

Hope you used more than 1 strap to secure the load:thumbup: Thank you for sharing how do you get them off
  9. I hope you and folk like you grow up or get locked up:confused1:
  10. totally agree those and weaver. I have used whipping twine to sew one up now a days I would pay a tenner and have a new one. Even if you don,t splice whipping twine and a strong needle are essential to any tree man or girl
  11. It would forward faster if you did refreshers:thumbup:
  12. A hair on your chin:thumbup:
  13. Take it back to where you bought it:thumbup: surely a few weeks warranty on things like this is not too much:biggrin: just check the rubber seal or get a new one which are not dear and available from local auto shops
  14. If you were an HGV driver you do 37hr,s training within a 5 yr period ipaf needed cpcs needed first aid needed hiab needed and sure loads more if I could be bothered Refresher training is not that bad it certainly helps With bad habits and come on you all have them It also helps keep up with legislation changes It just makes folk think about how and why they do things Refresher traing also teaches new techniques not just to do what the MINIMAL was needed to get your cert of competence. If you went on a refresher and did not learn anything then your either a Liar or too stuck in your ways or just as good as ME:thumbup: Also why not add another unit to further your quals and skill level which is often seen as a refresher i.e CS41 cover most of 38 and 39 and 32 covers 31 ect
  15. at least tyres pumped up:thumbup:
  16. hope you had prawn crackers whats this op for? will you need many more? For all I love Chinese I hate hospitals more:blushing: Hope all goes well
  17. let the insurance sort it out thats what it is there for tell them the facts and send some pics and move on not pleasant but part of life:001_huh:
  18. this would be better price for tree and builders sort the stump:thumbup:
  19. the CS 48 assessment is in 2 parts Part 1 is maintenance and if you hold CS 30 you do not get assessed on this part. So no having 30 does not qualify you other than to maintain it. The use of a pole saw includes pruning and distances of safe use ect generally a lot of company,s see that having CS 39 which means you would have already got 31 suffices but it is all about having received training and been able to prove competency there is no where it says it must be NPTC I know a few firms that justify by experience and in house training but now AFAG 805 has been revised that is now harder to prove Have a look at the assessment schedule. If you are competent in it,s use look at just booking an assessment only which should not be expensive as it does not take long and can often be slotted in quite reasonably
  20. would Frank of had to stand on a box so he could throw a full size axe then:blushing: or is been vertically challenged an advantage:laugh1:
  21. frank only has a little one:confused1: does not shine like steves which is why sepia was used or too tight to have colour:thumbup:

I am aware of that:confused1: just wondered if it was CE for ppe but just looked and it is
  23. just a few points 1 first aid at work is every 3 yrs and now they recommend a yearly update and the last couple have made us pre pay to encourage attendance 2 it,s amazing what you can do with simple things if your a withit and practical guy 3 I have bought 1 kit even though we have generally 3 teams but we have bumped up the other kits with more suitable dressings ect The main reason for buy one kit was a to see what we really thought and b for when we are away from the vehicle or off the beaten track. Sods law says it will be a different team that possibly needs it but hopefully that team will have a better kit than it used to have and enough to surfice. I honestly hope it sits in the van unused and is the biggest waste but put it into perspective on how much you pay in fuel a month or new saws or gizmos and it aint too bad It should be the customers paying and if over a year it is around £1 a day so over a few yrs less than a bag of peanuts. I would even be happy to pay for a demo whether to the trainer or to charity
