  1. did you think of doing it as a dog tooth so you could of got all the cutting done and set the hinge ect then released it. I also wondered if rope rather than ratchet straps as they would of had a bit more give and it would of been interesting as to what had of happened to the rope but in reality we generally use ratchet straps as easier:blushing:. Its certainly a while since we have done stuff that big with the crappy unions. Nice one tom and cheers for sharing:biggrin:
  2. is it different when you use the chainbrake. the clutch springs can be an issue and liable to make it stall
  3. now done mine 7 times:thumbdown: it is surprising what you can do as you still have the hand and just keep it in the sling. there is always so much that can be done. Just think positive and keep going

whether i agree with this or not. It does show that unlike the general feeling on other threads that the EMPLOYER does need to be qualified and work within industry guidelines. Certainly some have always believed as the business owner or employer they were exempt. How many other threads have bleated on about system like the corgi sysyem well again if the hse took everyone to court that were reported it would certainly be a big step towards that and allow us to actually charge what would be fairer. I certainly have spent more than 6k on PPE in my time never mind how much more than that on training. At least he did not hurt himself and I do wonder if he talked to the guy before reporting him. Certainly I would like to think i would talk to them and only consider other options if he was a shall we say non receptive to any constructive advice:blushing:, p.s seen a few and reported none but i have had a few interesting conversations:confused1:
  20. I always use callipers:thumbup:
  21. main thing is variety they will soon get fed up doing repetative work. My son has worked/helped me for a long time but ONLY when he wanted to. We have had a lot of quality time whilst achieving something as obviously you have to work differently with them around. I did buy some arborcoms so i could make sure he was ok and they are fantastic and had a lot of very good chats whilst working rather than me out working and him playing on the gaystation. Also dont try to work all day but go out do a bit of work then then spend the earnings going out for lunch and off to pictures. That is real life work pays for treats:thumbup: P.s skyhuck would you like to adopt me
  22. How can you justify it as an investment:blushing:
  23. which one would you buy then
  24. where would be a good place to get an axe and granfor or Och......thingy
  25. why not trust one basically same principle as 200T but obviously better made as husky:thumbup:
