  1. to turn something that looks like a bowl is not hard to get it to look like a nice bowl is different. I still have the first one i made and it looks ok and i am still proud of it
  2. that was quick i am in huddersfield come over and have a go yourself or i could turn it for summat. it will probably crack and warp if fresh turned but that often just adds to the character

  9. I would just slip a new link in. Not worried re it been newer or not worn as it would bed in very quick and they are generally not that precise.A lot of the initial slack is it bedding in rather than stretching like a lot believe. But having said that if it,s part worn and you have to pay for the repair just buy a new one:thumbup:
  10. agreed shame to burn as nice for turning:thumbup:
  11. Shame is all the police seem to be able to do is issue a crime number Although we had some diesel nicked and there was a bit of blood on the cap. Positive ID and he is due in court:thumbup: If you need to borrow anything pls let me know.

  13. ridiculous prob got £5 for copper
  14. whatever happened really sad
  15. got a couple of the husky ones and a stihl one for filling saws before we go out. Everyone seems to prefere using the husky ones and tbh considering how much money we spend on the fuel and oil over a year a nozzle at £7.50 does not worry me. just buy a few spares and remember orange rules:thumbup:
  16. stihl battery saw all the way from the sounds of what you want it for. Love mine to bits. not the same power as a petrol one but fantastic for fencing and bits here and there
  17. A stihl dealer i know also stocks Vallorb files after we stopped buying from him and he sells hardly any of the stihl ones

  22. I would certainly question if this could be referred to as a pollard:confused1: sorry if that detracts from the original point
  23. would take a lot of andrex to clean up. That would surely makes your eyes water:thumbup:
  24. did you leave a plaque with all your company details to see if it brings work in. I can honestly say i have not done 1:blushing: like that. The thing is the fact that you have asked the question allows me to believe? that this would not of been your ideal but a solution. I certainly would of been proud to have cleared up as well as that:thumbup:
