  1. Sorry, we do not have appeared to have any records available. We made some 250-300 of them and the where made under license from a Calor Gas design. Is yours kitted up with the gas bottle etc? With this one not fitted with any ag linkage or pto drive, I would think that this went into service as a tow tug (the bracket is there for a pin) and may have been used in a factory/distribution centre or possibly even as a airplane tow tug. The standard colour was a dull green and creamy white, yours being highway yellow throughs in another mix! I couldn't swear to it but that pale blue engine seems to remind me of the engine colour used by the MOD for their engines too. Is there any evidance of a registration number plate?
  2. One of our foreign dealers had this cover made for their 130 - they didn't want to get it to a demo turning up covered in salt and slime! Cover.html cover1.html
  3. I don't know of any records to be honest. As far as attachments were concerned, they could be fitted with a Nuffield linkage front or back with PTO. I'm pretty sure that a tipper circuit was fitted too. A picture of yours would be good if you can, send it by PM if you feel the need, we run a GM staff Facebook page and they like to see our previous products. If you need specific info, I'll ask for you to see if anything comes up.
  4. I do confess that the stability test does seem a little extreme! Never seen a moose in this country but had to dodge a few idiots!
  5. Am I right in thinking that the current Toyota is the only crew cab available to fail the Moose Test? We are changing out our Rangers soon enough and tbh, main stream dealers seem to have a thing about offering poor customer relations and a DILLIGAF attitude.
  6. Was it 6600 EVL? Flat twin indeed, thirsty but powerful.
  7. I did hear that they went bump, but may struggle on in one form or another servicing the non rail work that they had. Just working from Salcey and possibly Cumbria.
  8. Oh, and in a desperate measure after a burglar visited, a handful of ex Military Partner Pioneers!
  9. Early saws were Homelite, the local dealer looked after them. Then Echo, they made a blinding two cylinder! Then Stihl and still have a 20 year old 088 and thirty year old 090!
  10. Beaver Plant at Stamford Bridge are an option. They deliver

    GoodYear AT3?

Just sort this, front tracking was out, fronts then fishscaled so had two more and the tracking done and it is spot on! Economy is slightly up too. Roughly £100 a corner!
  12. I got a couple of GreenMech AT190 units!
  13. Balmers at Wakefield or perhaps Rodgers Plant or even Chippendale Plant would bring one from Leeds?
  14. Have you got a pre 97 UK licence or passed the trailer towing test?
  15. OOOF! Take that axle off of it and swap it for a wider axle with taller wheels, just like Vermeer UK did to the 625 range. They had a habit of falling over on UK roads!
  16. We have put Dyneema rope on some winches with our chippers. Owners report that while expensive, it is very forgiving, much more flexible, stronger and is less liable to damage if spooled incorrectly.
  17. Just be mindful of the pressure that some kit works at. Spot on for purge systems but some things, like track tensioner systems, don't need high pressure as it puts unnecessary poundage in and can weaken seals or put too much load on bearings etc.
  18. I'd say to support your local dealer, then, in a time of need, there is an incentive to help you out!
  19. As said in the other post, using an imported machine in the UK means that it has to adhere to our legislation - and that includes as a trailer and a chipper. It might not be worth importing as the compliance costs may outweigh its usable value!
  20. Does look a chunk of change but they cost a superb amount when new! It is in good nick too. I like it!

    GoodYear AT3?

Had to replace AT tyres for MOT - they had done close to 100k tbh. Replaced them with a couple of AT3 and had vile and sometimes scary tramline issues! Anyone else had similar issues?

    Forst st6p

If you want to have a go with a GreenMech 150p, let me know and I'll bring one out! Not a problem!
  23. Took a walk around the other parts of the factory that we have expanded into since the new building went up and we had their floor space! These where kicking about.
  24. We have found that the fuel seeps past the rings and fills the sump up if the solenoid does not seal properly!
  25. A bit more info would be good! Is it pull start? Can you pull it over? Is it key start and battery okay? We will try to help but info is good!
