We are looking for a full time experienced/qualified groundsman to join our team. We are looking for a polite and punctual individual. The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications CS30, CS31 and wood chipper certificate anything extra is a bonus. They must be able to carry out general groundsman duties such as: * Hedge trimming & topping (unsupervised), * Rigging and keeping the ropes tidy at all times, * Competent in use of chainsaws * Sharpening the chainsaws * Operating the chippers * Helping out with the general maintenance of the machines, * Good quality clean up and workmanship. They must be willing to learn to operate machines such as: * Stump grinders * Avant loader * Excavators with attachments * Log splitters and processors. A driving licence is essential due to the location of our yard. Our work is a mixture of private and commercial so no two days are the same. Extra training and qualifications will be provided for the right person who shows motivation and commitment. Hi mate Iv just read your message, is it just weekend work your looking for or can you do weekdays to. Iv got work for both climbers & Groundsmen but I’m not paying a climbers rate to do a groundie job. Where abouts in Birmingham are you I’m based in Sutton Coldfield. Thank you
