  9. what gets me is the guys who are over quota on any catch should be able to pass it to the guys you havent yet got their quota ... A quota shouldnt be on a boats, but more for a harbour port or area / region ,, fine set rigiid rules on catching techniques or net size & type to stop willful bycatch ,after all the guys who want dover sole will catch over quota species which gets chucked the cod back & an-other boat may well be doing exactly the opposite. wasting a natural resource + diesel + risking lives doing it UTTER MADNESS I wonder how many other Eu country adopt Eu rules quite as keenly as we do cant sell it cant land it set up some pontoons and do swappsys brussels = clueless
  10. always used the NFu aint the cheapest but are absolutly brilliant when you need them + you get the local touch to amend what you want when you need too

  15. it depends on your target client base if you use your own name then that adds the personal touch , however corporate customers might see this at limiting but I'd stay away from 'treefellas' & the like A joke is fine if you want to be seen in that context

  22. Nptc dont have instructors ,, though people do instruct to the nptc criteria Lantra are the training organisation .. You can book an NPTC assessor if you ring your local NPtc centre ,, check the website for details of your area // you can also print out the criteria used ..
  23. You can claim back 17.5% soon to be 20% if selling to private customers as a fuel then vat chargeable is only 5% if its for resale ie supplying a garden centre then you charge at full vat rate hope this helps
