  2. Hand held battery secateurs do frighten me a bit. i use a long reach Milwaukee pruner a lot, pretty much same body as telescopic polesaw but with a by-pass pruner head . pretty heavy duty, cuts over inch and a half .
  3. Probably worth a carb clean and check the diaphragm as TF says above.
  4. If the fruitiing body is not on the log then how can it sporulate? Altough Kretz is both saprophytic and parasitic/pathogenic once the logs dry it will not fruit and hence spread.
  5. That's all well and good, but can you propose any solutions? We need solutions man. And quickly. I'd suggest a good place to start would be to force the big tech companies to remove the heinous content that they harbour. That's fueling most of this shit now. After all, why do normal, responsible people need to watch videos of beheadings, or learn how to make ricin? (I could add own assault rifles, but that's a whole other can of worms!) I think you're right about the various lists that suspects are on. The problem is that those lists are held by different organizations, who don't talk to each other. We need a big push to align and connect all the social services, education, mental health institutions, MI5/6 and the police etc. Also, they need to be made more efficient and dare I say it? Better funded. Look at the Axel Rudakubana case for example. A sick fcked up individual for sure. But also a depressing litany of safeguarding disasters on multiple fronts. Axel Rudakubana: from ‘unassuming’ schoolboy to Southport killer | Southport attack | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM How a chain of events apparently beginning at school five years ago led to the murder of three girls in horrific atrocity

  11. I am doing this... kind of... along the back fence a good layer of wood chip to break down but then level the ground enough to mow the brambles, nettles etc that grow through the fence - ground level is all over the place at the moment - point is, in some cases it can work... but not on their own. Depends on the weeds you get you might consider ways to embrace them or use what grows there as a guide to what plants to plant as replacements
  12. Hi everyone ,so we are going to make a resin table thats a bit different ,I will post photos when done ,so have any of you ordered and used any resin from Temu or Ali express and is it any good . Thanks. Mark
  13. finally got the recently acquired Danarm 1-71-ss back together today, it had a few electrical problems, I can't be certain but it looked like someone had it apart previously and trapped wires when reassembling, I replaced them all from an old parts saw, and put a kit in the carb, before firing up I pulled the exhaust, piston looked new! in fact the top was showing no evidence of being fired at all, it has massive amounts of compression, I'm thinking someone gave up on it after spending time and coin on it and traded it in for a new model, [it came from a dealers shop, as did the other two] it's now running good and starts in a couple of pulls from cold, and one once warmed up. I got a Dolmar CC [109] coming next week, I hope that as easy to sort.
  14. Would help if u said what side of Worcester and if u have any qualifications yet ?
  15. The only reason I looked at case/NH was the extra pump. The spec says 50ltr constant flow so I can track and flail. Flailing wise would be brambles and small self sown trees on brown sites so there is normally a lot of contamination in terms of rubbish. I currently have a green climber lv500 and it’s brilliant, but my business seems to be moving more towards trees than scrub. im thinking 50% flail work 25% grab work 25% actually digging and grading. Thanks

    Ladders

I tried one of these at a fair once. Thinking "how hard can it be, I've a pretty keen sense of balance", I was confident. Turned out it was nigh on impossible, I didn't even manage one rung.
  18. To be honest, your doing well to get three chains worth of life out of a Husqvarna 135 ! Assuming the saw and bar is OK, I'd clean up the bar, get the rails flat and true and replace the chain and sprocket. The problem is these parts wear together. An worn sprocket will mess up a new chain, a messed up chain will mess up the new sprocket.
  19. Just check the local people, they need a 10x1.0 helicoil kit and willing/able to do it.
  20. Be nice or I'll come round and shove a ferret up your nightie!
  21. well done. I'm sure you won't be disappointed
  22. im looking for some woodchips and willing to except a few logs aswell

    Makita DUC150

Nope the guard is 100% coming off before its first job. Note the Fakita, which apart from having a bulky motor sticking out the side, is actually pretty good. Its only a basic DC motor but it feels to have decent power and chain speed. Cant remember when I last used it.

  26. Yes but fixing on site could mean you have to wait for someone to come out to wherever you are. It's not I could call the AA to get me home. I don't know why they don't offer a system like you say. Something where you can put the machine in neutral so that you can push it out or even tow it out of gear.

  28. on holiday at the moment so cant investigate further, but ive unhidden it for you in the meantime.
  29. This one has me stumped. Tree crown is around 10-15 metres in height and spread. Not a lot of photos as I was slightly distracted by the Naturists in the garden and didn’t want to give them the wrong idea. No matter what time of day it is, why are they always playing lawn tennis?
