  2. Hi everyone, Rock Machinery have this new splitter that looks like a copy of Eastonmade. Box wedge seems to be a pretty efficient setup combined with a conveyor belt. It's not the cheapest and the splitter is not legally road towable. My questions: how hard would it be to make it road legal? Are there any other brands in UK making something similar? Cheers Peter
  3. New one today, MP001 tyre pump, £100. No more messing about with cig lighter cables and it should have enough air to seat tyre beads when I swap them myself. No free battery with these tho. I've had a slow leak in one tyre for ages and dont check it nearly often enough. This should help..
  4. I see your in france, were you born there? or did you choose to move to france and get work there?
  5. Although I agree, how much would it cost? It's been raped, I don't mean just asset stripped, it's been abused for profit. The infrastructure/network is shot, anyone who works in the water industry will tell you the same.

  18. Had a spare day so continued with friends garden - its been a slow one. In 2023 I removed 5 leylandii, one of them large, and a dangerous rotten poplar. Earlier this year I stump ground the bigger two out, the smaller ones were done with mattock. Today started levelling. First job was trim it low and chase the small roots, digging with mattock and spreading with rake. Old before pic Once I get the dirt levelled theres a huge slab of concrete after the path, I'll be letting one of her friends shift that and the path, then more levelling. Plan is to get it flat and grass seed growing before autumn.

  20. Whatever you do decide with the landlord what each of you wants from this, write it in a contract. Remember a gentlemens' agreement is an agreement between two people, neither of whom are gentlemen and neither expects to fulfill his part of the agreement. I can relate a story or two about gentlemens'' agreements. From what I understand you do not have much to bring to the table and are at the mercy of your landlord's goodwill.

If you are not getting transfer between tanks then all is fine, you may, or may not believe this but I have sealed tanks and holes in tanks, use the very runny super glue, run a bead along the seam, now liberally sprinkle bi carbonate of soda over it, within minutes it will set like concrete, if necessary rub down and re apply, don’t knock this till you try it.
  24. Trying to find a supplier of Cundey service parts, ie drive belt etc but not having much success lately getting through to the bloke who seems to be the main UK man. Any suggestions please
  25. Thanks Rapalaman - good to hear How do you find it handles the thicker/more woody stuff? Whilst I see that it has a relatively wide tooth pitch of 35mm the stroke rate is pretty high at 5000/minute. I understand that a lower rate is preferable for thicker stems, and a faster rate is better suited to fine finishing etc.
