  2. Let me guess, without reading your source which is essentially the website for "the man down the pub told me" - is this "another life devastated by a foreign Muslim", whilst ignoring all the lives devastated by any white 'Christian' criminals? Is it your usual racial bias coming out again?
  3. Thanks Eric. Ive also bought a second hand Grillo Climber 9.22. My thinking was this had the largest engine without being 4WD. 4WD would have been nice, but these are more expensive and there are more parts to go wrong. I havn't felt I have needed the extra traction in the past, but maybe I will regret this. For some reason the tyres have been shifted from tractor tyres to turf tyres, so I will probably return it to aggressive tractor tyres that will help with the traction. Regarding your electrical issues, you might try a 'contact spray' to control the oxidization - the kind that you use to protect trailer electrics? Alternatively I have bypassed all the safety systems in various mowers. I haven't looked at the Grillo's electrics yet, but normally you have one circuit running to the ignition key that needs to be closed by the various safety switches to work. Normally the safety circuit is a different colour from the black/red of the earth/positive - yellow or blue. A bit of continuity testing with an electrical tester will normally work this out. Let me know if you want me to figure out how the safety switches work on mine?

  5. It's hard to put a figure on someone else's business. Do you know how much it costs you to run your business? Everything from wages, machinery costs, insurances PPE - everything. You need to include costs for replacement tools machine vehicles etc. This will give you a base figure upon which you build on. Don't forget you actually need some profit too.
  6. You -could- throw logs through a kiln for about an hour and they are 'kiln dried'... like you say, it is dryness that counts - air dry them will do the same job, need more yard space but no expense of a kiln. Repeat customers will be the indicator if you have them dry enough - too wet, no repeat customers.
  7. I use 5w30 synthetic everywhere for last 10 or more years so you absolutely fine with that one ! Try avoid w20 very modern C5 oils too thin , I’m testing this on push mover,it’s still working but I only started can’t say what happens in long term!

  9. Ok, understood, the fuel leak is right on the seam, and as you are aware the 2100 cannot be split and simply reassembled with gaskets like many other saws, I did some investigating and it appears many have tried numerous ways to cure leaking fuel tanks, using a sealer seemed to be the most common and effective method, next to swapping out for a 480 tank and losing the manual oiler. in my case the oiler seems to be working fine with no transfer of fuel to oil or vice versa, would this indicate the existing plunger seal was intact?
  10. Good Morning All.
  11. If only Lesmondo! lots and lots of little stuff still there.

  13. Brilliant, just spat me beer out!
  14. Hey guys, does anyone know how you go about getting work in Scandinavia for a small squad of hard working planters and fencers. thanks
  15. Evening all I'm looking to invest in a decent long-reach hedge cutter to try and tame some of our larger hedges - our trusty old HS45 is simply not up to the job as some of them have been left for 12 years or more and are over 6m high in places. Thus far it has taken me the best part of a week to clear about 20m of ponticum using the 45, loppers and various tripod ladders and scaffolding. I was initially looking at the larger long-reach cutters such as the Stihl Kombi 131 but have had the Echo HCA-2620ES-HD recommended to me by a local contractor. Not only is it cheaper but (a) it can come as a similar combi-unit and (b) the 5-year domestic warranty suggests they have confidence in their build quality - the engines are still made in Japan for example. Does anyone have experience of the Echo cutters - good or bad please? Thanks
  16. I had the same problem with the ventilated bags, they settle more than the full ones. I add a low strap around the base of the bags to limit the play, it helps a lot. And I always check the straps after the first 5 km. Mini MilitiaApp Lock

  18. Nice one Stubby, knees down mother Brown😳. Do you still have the blade?
  19. Hmmm, wonder what JD Vance has been up to this week. Sticking it to Trump perhaps in subtle ways - good luck with that Trump is to narcissistic to take the hint.
  20. I should do - just too cowardly to get on and do it
  21. Tuna, sweetcorn, pepper, onion, tomatoes, celery and rice with a dollop of mayonnaise! Had this since I was a kid but mine rate it at the same level of sprouts or my legendary chicken chunder!
  22. No thanks, that got turned off in less than half a second.
  23. Did this get solved? I’m having the same issue. Occasionally a small drop of the saw will cause the intake pipe/boot to pull away from the carb. I have replaced all springs but I’m unsure if there isn’t something else I’m missing as there is a fair bit of play at the rear of the saw. It’s hard with no other saw to reference from.
  24. i have a Stihl 2 in one sharpener. of late the price for the files just keeps going up. The files are peculiar to stihl, so i am stuck, not being able to shop around. Radmore and Tucker say that , you get about 8 sharpenings to the chain. This is getting pricey. The flat box file is stupidly pricey. i am now considering an electric sharpener. i am hoping that i do not get conned into buying a chinese knock off. afterall sharpening, is a precision operation. yet with this stihl cutomer services talk out of thier backside, resulting in wasting your time. Oregon, on the other hand, are quite helpful, so i am looking into getting one of thier sharpeners. i have a Stihl 120 battery saw. with a 1/4' pico chain. Oregon sharpeners are presently ticking the boxes for me. Yet having one of thiers could be time-consuming, getting to learn how to get it down to an art. The discs are a separate issue. maintaining/dressing the disc. Then changing the discs to address the rakers. Then the chain has to be cleaned before sharpening takes place, the thing is. dealers do not know anything. the onus is on the user
  25. A picture of some. Other saws to add are husqvarnas 357xp 346xp 61 345and another Echo. Picture is of modified 362xp to a 372xp.
