Sure. And if you need to, you need to. But the vast majority of UK pickups are owned for prestige.

Cor, I have never had any type of road assistance policy before but I was travelling from Minehead to Inverness so thought it prudent to have some cover. That was last January I took out the policy, I saw it was coming up for renewal and wanted to cancel. Looked on there website, not possible you had to phone and being a weekend no one was in. Week or so later the water pump belt snaps on the car, brill got RAC cover. 2 hours later a chap comes out to confirm what I have told them, 'yeah I can't fix that, you'll have to arrange your own recovery.' he said my policy doesn't cover any recovery. I showed him my member page online which stated that I indeed did have recovery. 'yeah that is it but it's not giving me an option to book a flat bed.'. So he ****************s off, very helpful-not. I phone back up, oh yes you do have that cover and they say we will recover you. We phone back, they seem to have our details mixed with someone else's vehicle and location. 5 hours waiting so far. Once recovery is here we have to call back for them to book us a taxi for our 1 1/2 hour journey home. Luckily I chose to limp the vehicle to a hungry horse establishment as it chilly out side. Fingers crossed a 7 seater taxi is up for the job by time recovery has arrived.

Good. He supported the Iraq war. There is no place for Labour in this day and age. Funny you should mention fascism and cancellation of elections. Keep an eye on The USA and their mango Mussolini.

Tis the season to see Fungi, fa la la la la....
Paul Cleaver replied to David Humphries's topic in Fungi Pictures
Yes, I've seen a lot myself last week. Velvet shank I think -
Hi, apart from being an insecticide it's other purpose is as an anti fungal agent and I use it to paint on boards that are to be stickered for much time seasoning to prevent blue staining on the grain particularly in softwoods like Pine, Spruce and Larch, but anything really. I really only mill wood for myself when the opportunity arises and I've got a few stacks of various woods that I can dig into when needed, but there's nothing worse taking a slab out of a stack that's been sitting for years to find that it's all blue stained specially up here in wet Northwest. Also Borax is the main component in woodworm and dry rot treatments, plus many other industrial uses.

Sad to hear that, usually after 21 days or so you can do a claim. Have they rejected it? Do you still use them?

Search for it on here. Discussed within the last year. The conclusion I came to was that it's handy like a Hobbs for pre-tension (and handier because it's smaller and cheaper) but a lift any longer than a foot ot two with the cleat method in the video will be a pain because rope will pile up on the drum. On Monday, I'm collecting the backplate for the pre-production prototype of something better. dawinchi site:arbtalk.co.uk because the actual site search function isn't great.

QE is bullish for both gold and crypto.

Doh I see now, you cleaned the red paint and put your own handle. So it's probably a more recent one if it is Bulldog. I still like it.

Location would be useful

Interesting, thank you.

I had a look a while back and would still consider for larger clearance works on a 8t+ excavator but for domestic stuff it doesn’t suit, primarily because you can remove the stumps but chasing lateral roots would be impossible. If it’s going on anything less than perfectly flat ground I feel it would be damaging on an avant or similar carrier over time (lateral stresses). We once thought putting a log splitting cone on a Vermeer would work great, which I feel is the same principle - the reality was it didn’t work and we consistently sheered fixing bolts (we tried free swinging, couldn’t get the weight in the log before it slipped), we were going to eventually damage the arms so scrapped it.

Avoid anything caustic - very common in ultrasonic cleaning fluids. It will turn cast alu a nasty black colour.

Vertigo Trees Ltd has an opening for an experienced climber. Based in Squamish, BC, working from Vancouver up to Whistler. Small company, decent kit, mostly good jobs, cracking work sites! Plenty of time to go skiing, biking, rock climbing, whatever outdoor pursuit floats your boat. You will need the legal right to work in Canada, that probably means a working holiday Visa, obtained via the IEC program. Pay range, $28-$45 Cad$ per hour, 25-40hrs a week. You might even find a bear in a tree onsite!
