  1. Past hour
  2. 281 or xp was a beautiful saw , cant knock it, as an early teen i had the chance to use that and some of the other 2 series Huskies, saw i never liked or struggled to handle was the 3120xp. With a long bar on it - like some of ther bigger Huskies were never balanced right
  3. Hey, yes did try but my coils made in sweden, and didnt look like that!😔
  4. Also depends on the log. A large diameter but short log will dry faster than a long small log as the wood dries much faster from the end grain than through the bark. This is also why you should cut into logs and split early, the wood will dry faster.
  5. You seemed perfectly happy with uncle Joe's dithering fingers on that nuclear Armageddon button. Or out very own kier/Corbyn, sat listening to Kremlin hold music as the ICBM makes it's merry way.
  6. Worrying that the most powerful leader in the world is loosing his marbles is nothing then? Commander of the most powerful military might not be all there... and that those around him are worrying as well should be a cause for worldwide alarm really. How many other world leaders are subject to repat cogitative tests then?
  7. Three again. Wordle 1,637 3/6* 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  8. Frame backpacks work well, this is my second, first one was over kill, much bigger, probably better for what you’re doing. just look for a 2nd hand hikers frame backpacks and rip the bag off and get some small ratchet straps to strap kit to it. Good to get one with hip and chest straps if carrying big weight far then there’s this, but I reckon the fuel can looks too far away from your back with the saw head where it is
  9. I would file most chains freehand but the 4mm files had to be in a guide to prevent snapping.
  10. Today
  11. I assume someone must have dumped it. Reckon it was a good 16” long so pretty good size! Looks like it may have had a damaged fin
  12. Guys i am going to start a new thread next week, How i imagine you all in my mind only by knowing you all through the forum. Example (Stubby)
  13. I broke a 3.2 mm file and now use it 2" shorter, makes it much less bendy! They definately require more patience than bigger ones but theres not too many cutters. I have one this morning i will chuck away as it is worn down enough to have lost a tooth🤦‍♂️
  14. Morning all, Raining here, day off anyway. Surprisingly had three requests for quotes in last two days, just when I thought it might slow down. Not complaining though. Have a good day whatever you’re doing.
  15. Good morning Big jase, Give pete a back hander out of the dosh you got for redundancy 200k 🤣 He might squeeze you a new job with a desk 80K Best wishes jase Les
  16. Morning Team, enjoy the Friday and enjoy the weekend better! Be good y'all. Partial desk day today. Mark, Bowling, Auntie, Wrecks.
  17. Jensen and TP machines are getting some good reviews- not many bad chippers about these days and a lot is down to budget and preference
  18. Tbf I think they have shaken out most of the initial issues they had with the Doosan engine on them. Eg relays vibrating loose, radiators failing, bonnet hinge bolts falling out, dashboard/display complete failures, electric throttle failures, oh and the dpf doesn't like it if you talk to it rudely.
  19. Wordle 1,637 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  20. Wordle 1,637 4/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  21. Anything anyone would recommend other than a Forst or a Timerwolf/GreenGech(owned by the same company now aren't they?) Are are newer forsts as unreliable as people make out?
  22. Happy Friday Arbtalkers 😉
  23. Same as GreenMech then....
  24. Wow! escapee?
  25. Good Morning Busy weekend. Off to see the fossil again. Last face to face this year. Work not slowing all the way to the 24th. Then start again 29-31. Hoping for less traffic to get some central London stuff done. Have a great weekend.
