  1. Stick up some photos of failed sprocket . Might help. [emoji106]
  2. You "could" run 3/8 on an 880, They use same rim sprockets as 440,660 etc Use a duromatic bar also. Can't recommend it though.
  3. Sweet mate. That'll be for Sunday evening. [emoji106]
  4. Good gear mate, you'll have a lot fun. Stick some photos up. [emoji106]
  5. A few of those are set ups, Like "the car in the woods" Still uncomfortable viewing though.
  6. It's easier to take off sapwood after milling. What machine and bar are you using?
  7. Nice trees, interesting idea. What are the chips surrounded by? How long would they last?
  8. Worst nightmare. Poor guy. When will there be decent neck protection? Is it possible?
  9. How much do yo pay for a new tracked chipper???? [emoji15] £250 is cheeeeeeeeap
  10. I think the torque from the 880 is too much for 3/8. 404 is chunkier but almost the same kerf. I mill quite a bit with 404 works fine.
  11. Not really worth milling. Unless you need a lot of sawdust and a couple of small planks for a few hundred quid?
  12. Stihl saw and a decent bill hook. [emoji106]
  13. Beautiful wood, but out of "fashion". Turn beech down regularly as I can't sell it in planks. Great firewood though.
  14. Keep it separate. Stay mates. Partnerships I've had ended badly. Never again. Working with mates regularly yes. [emoji106]
  15. Season for robbing bast**ds. I disconnect the battery every night.
  16. Keep ya eyes on local ads, gumtree and eBay. Ba*****s!!!
  17. I've ran 25" es and 20" e. Never had to change the end sprocket as bar wears out first. I don't do that many plunges though.
  18. Stihl 661 with 25" bar and 8 pin sprocket. If you really need to. [emoji106]
  19. Bolt please stop feeding the racist trolls. They love the attention.
  20. They were trimming some elms in Brighton a few years back. A 2" branch about 10" long. Whittled down the handle at the thin end. Gave a few to fisher type mates.
  21. Stihl 461 with 25" bar. Choppy!
  22. Made a few from elm, nice weight.
  23. I use two ap300 batteries for an msa200. Battery life is amazing, I've cut 3m3 in half and had battery left. Lasts for hours if pruning and snedding. Great for carving too. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
